I'm giving this 3 stars instead of 1 because Tracie was extremely nice and did amazing when I got Pepper. My negative experiences were the treats and food they gave me for my cat were expired by over a year which is horrible. My cat could've easily gotten very sick if I fed him any of it and who knows how much expired food they've given to other people for their pets and got sick from it. They should always check the dates before giving out any food or treats. When I got my cat Pepper there and I took him home I noticed his nose was nonstop running a bright green snot and would hyperventilating from his nose being so clogged. I wait a few days hoping that maybe it was just because of him being in a new environment but it was still happening and every morning he would wake up with a lot of green snot dried to his nostril not being able to breathe correctly. My sister had a similar experience with her cat when she got him from there and they gave him a shot so I took Pepper to the shelter and told the lady (she was probably in her late 50s I didn't get her name) what's been happening hoping they would do the same for me and explained how they handled it for my sister's cat but all she kept telling me was "take him to the vet to get an antibiotic he probably just has a cold" I told her that he was like that when I got him but she kept telling me to take him to the vet. I'm just annoyed that Pepper was sick when I got him and it seems like they couldn't have cared less about helping me. It's been 2 weeks now and he's still sick he's gotten better but is still occasionally hyperventilating and his nose is more dry now but it still seems stuffy and he's still blowing out chunks of snot which is worrying.

I feel bad leaving a negative review for an animal shelter I will continue to support their work and I'm sure they're a good organization
However I must confess I've had a rather frustrating experience with them on 3/28/24 I brought in a cat that I found on the road to them with the idea that if her original owner didn't claim her I would adopt her when I brought her in I was told she was unspayed and unmicrochipped and there was a 10 day hold on her (which is completely understandable) in the meantime I called back 3 times to follow-up on her and couldn't get any help on the phone so I filled out an adoption form and went up to pick her up (the 2nd day after her stray hold was expired mind you) and I was told she was moved to humane fort wayne just hours before I arrived So I'm currently working with humane fort wayne on a foster to adopt basis additionally humane fort wayne confirmed that she is already spayed which makes me question if noble county even evaluated her at all I thought I was doing the right thing by turning her in in hopes that her original owner would claim her but since that didn't happen I wish I would have just brought her home and bypassed the shelter again I have no intention to slander this organization but the miscommunication on their end is frustrating

They are so amazing and kind! They treated the dogs with so much love and care it's like it's their own little family there. They try to help you find your forever companion if you have an idea of the breed, temperament, etc.. They just want the best for their dog and for you

My Huskys got loose Friday morning. I searched for hours. Left my number with Humane Society of Noble County and a truck driver found them . Thank God . They called me as soon as they were found 8 hrs later. Thank you so much They were muddy and full of burrs but at least they were safe

We adopted both of our pups from here. The employees were so kind and helpful, and really wanted to make sure each pup was the perfect fit for our family. We visited a lot of shelters when we were looking to adopt and they made the process so much easier. From meeting dogs, playing one-on-one, to having our pups meet for the first time and taking them home! Would definitely look here first in the future.

Staff members are great. They are very caring. People looking for a family pet should check here first. These pets are in need of a good home.

I realize that they are getting alot of animals in but when a pet leaves their place sick and has to be taken to a vet to be treated for it. This shows they need to clean their facility better.
