We filled up our tank with 150 gallons at our home and it was $650 I had United oil fill my moms tank and she paid $300 for 200 gallons!! This company is ripping you off and is a joke!

DO NOT USE AMERIGAS!!! ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Poor poor customer service. Tried to take our owned tank off our property due to requesting a pump out because they delivered after we cancelled our service and charged us $1200. Now I got a bill for $669 for removing the fuel and can’t get a hold of a supervisor to see the detailed billing for the pump out. Every time I call customer service they send me to a manager and it loops me back to another customer representative!!! Seriously $580 for labor for a pump out!!! Or is that a charge for removing a tank that wasn’t removed because they don’t own it. If this was disclosed when scheduling for a pump out I would’ve just cut my losses!!! Not to mention was to be locked in on price of fuel and they do not honor that at all!!!

Amerigas is the worst company you can deal with. We made an order and were told it would be delivered within 14 days, 30 days later on Christmas eve we ran out of gas an were told it would be $300 emergency delivery fee for a delivery that was 2 weeks overdue. The local manager told us that it was not his problem and we would not get a delivery without paying the emergency fee. After two hours on the phone I finally got someone from corporate. My tank was filled 90 minutes later. I am no longer with Amerigas, Tankfarm is less than half the price and none of the fees.

Bought a new house and called AmeriGas for a fill. They delivered the propane but also slapped a sticker on my tank and said they owned it. The previous owner said they purchased and owned the tank and that it was included in the sale price of the house. Now we are having this huge fight which will likely go to court. I would not recommend anyone purchase from AmeriGas.

You made an appointment with us to bury a line and didn't show for it. Never called to let us know you weren't coming and never rescheduled. Also, the bill that we received for install of tank was not what was quoted. Took MULTIPLE phone calls (and emails that were not returned) to get it sorted out. Not sure it is actually sorted out yet. VERY UNHAPPY with the whole experience with Amerigas.

I had two customer service personnel hang up on me while I was asking and trying to get them to send me to a supervisor for help I wish someone could address this matter by looking my record up on the computer and identifying these two individuals something should be done this is a very negative attitude to have working with the public they should not be there and should not be employed it's a very negative outlook for your company

The run around to get to a person who can actually answer my question to find out when someone will be coming back to turn things back on and fix what they thought was a gas link in the middle of winter in Indiana WAS NOT customer service. Wouldn't it be nice if we could go back to when people answered their own phones and took care of their own business. UPDATE after 9 phone calls in which I spoke to not one person who is located in Indiana, they will come on January 3, 2023 to re-connect the gas to my father in law (who is 89 years old). They shut his gas off for a gas leak on 12/28/22 and cannot come back to make this right till 1/3/23. This is NOT 24/7 SERVICE NOR IS ANYTHING ABOUT IT GOOD SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amerigas told my 90 year old father we had a gas leak and shut off the gas until a technician came out. I thought this would be that day but they haven't responded several days later. The service lines are useless because they go straight to India and nothing you tell them will help you in anyway. I would appreciate any response at all telling what and when they might be able to turn his heat back on.

I would highly NOT recommend this company. They are completely unreliable. I had spoken to 26 different people on the phone all of which told me different information. They missed multiple appointments and it took them almost a month to finally make it out putting my families safety at risk in the middle of winter while trying to get a fill. SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS AND FIND ANOTHER COMPANY! Update: it's been Well over a month and I am still having the issues and I'm being told I have to pay them to cancel my \"term\" why am I keeping up my end of the deal but you can't? I stand by my find another company because it is CLEAR this company does not care.

Propane drop-off was quick and easy. I was at the grocery store when they dropped it off and the bill was added to my account so I didn't need to be there.

Customer service is absolutely horrible we called yesterday and was told the propane was $3.44 a gallon 10/07/22 now today we got filled up from 70% to 86% trying too claim that’s 90.2 gallons and the cost went up too $4.34 in one day that seems very wrong too me but you can’t hardly understand a word the customer service person was saying and she was getting annoyed by us asking questions she told us yesterday it would cost $43 too fill it up yesterday but the bill is $383 they are the most expensive propane company in this area definitely do not recommend getting propane with this company.

Would give no star if could.Been a customer for12 yrs. Customer service is joke. Asked someone to come out last fall to level tank. Never done. I called this summer about refill and asked why tank never leveled. Answer we came out but conditions unsafe for tech to look at(said was icy)Why was l not notified of this last winter. Instead of waiting on answer for months Your tank shows 51% so no refill needed. I just updated tank when I called to ask someone to level. It shows 10% ours show 51%. Not first time I corrected amount. Charged extra for not using enough gas also 500 gallon tank that they recommended for home. Then a leak check maybe needed at your expense. Dont smell gas Tech was rude with me asking questions. Was told need to wait 2 weeks before we can come out to level then another week for fuel more cost and unacceptable. Finally told them to remove tank tired of bs. Found another company with fuel at 1/2 of amerigas prices. They then charged me(Amerigas) $149 to remove tank which took 3 weeks upon hiring someone from ohio to do so. This driver said you're not the only one. I drove from ohio to Valparaiso to get address wouldn't give on phone. Thats 2 hours out of his way. Said picking up several tanks for this company THAT SAYS IT ALL!

Do yourself a favor and go with any other propane company. I’ve been a loyal customer for 10 years and this year I was billed $500 for not buying enough gas. When I looked into I was told this is a new policy they just started and was told it was in the fine print of an e mail they sent me. 2 years ago I had an employee rupture the diaphragm in my regulator doing a pressure check of the gas line. By the time I found out it was leaking outside I had lost 200 gallons and was told this is not there problem and I would have to buy a new regulator at my cost and they won’t do anything about the propane loss. This is a horrible company that’s looking to empty your bank account by any means necessary

They are the worst. Do not order from them. They are never on time. Paid for gas on Feb 16 and it is now March 2nd and no gas. Was told will be delivered by Feb 23. Called customer service 2 times now and they put us on expedited for the next day and did not show. We are now down to 3 percent and will probably run out which means they will want us to miss work so they can come in and re-light our pilots. After this fill up that we already paid for we are dumping them
