I've been a client at Roots Salon for only a couple of months, and while the salon itself is clean and well-maintained, I've had a frustrating experience with my stylist, Clarissa. On multiple occasions, my appointments have been canceled last minute, including one that was canceled just 2 hours before. This has been incredibly inconvenient, as I rely on these appointments for important events and occasions.
I understand that emergencies happen, but this has become a recurring issue. It's disappointing because I had heard good things about the salon. However, the lack of reliability and poor communication have made it difficult to continue patronizing this salon.
I hope Clarissa can address this issue and improve her scheduling practices. I value consistency and professionalism, and unfortunately, my experience has fallen short in these areas. Roots Salon is great, and I’m upset my experience was affected by one stylist's lack of reliability.

Chloe was amazing with my kids. My ten year old who hates getting his hair cut told me afterward that he really liked Chloe. He said he likes how she talks to her customers and he wants to go back when it's time for another cut. That's high praise coming from my kiddo. I also loved the ease of booking an appointment online with her. We will definitely be back!

Was very disappointed. New to the area and saw the great reviews. Went to Mariah twice. On the first appt she colored my Grey at the roots and worked the color (base of 5) through with a comb. It was too dark so I made another appt for highlights. The only thing I asked for was no red. Sure enough that's all I got were red (not Carmel) highlights despite toning. When I explained that I wasn't happy with the orange color she told me that that's what happens with highlights on darker hair. If I were a newbie to having my hair colored I may have believed her, but being a brunette that's had this done for over 20 years I'm well aware of the highlight colors that can be achieved by a color specialist. Pretty sure I'll look like a carrot after just a few shampoos. Thank goodness I have a trip next week to where I used to live so I can get this corrected. $200 + tip down the drain (including both trips) and nothing to show for it except brassy red hair.

Mariah has been doing my hair for 9 years! I literally fly from Colorado so she can keep doing my hair. She’s truly the best and I trust her so much!

I had one of the newer girls and she took her time with my hair to make sure it was perfect. I could tell she cared about the quality of her work.I have been wearing my hair down since my visit because the cut came out so great. That hasn't happened for me in a while, haha. I will be returning for sure.

Kelcee does a fantastic job, I have recommended her several times. My hair style and color is always great! She is professional, attentive and most importantly listens to what you want done. Highly recommend!

Worst plan ever !! They treated me so poorly! I had my hair done there and it came out awful. The hair dresser then throw a brush because I said it was fine it came out fine. and stormed off. I paid for the service and offered to came back and pay for it to be done right, they said I was no longer welcomed . All because I didn’t like my hair?! This is a place where there all friends and will treat you horribly if you don’t like the service. Please listen to the warnin. It’s really a bad place and I’m not even mad . I’m surprised. I visit Roots Salon for Chloe only about 1-2 times a year. I tend to neglect my hair and appearance year round up until summer, when I’m wanting a refreshing, brightened look. Chloe has ALWAYS been able to get me together (with my thick hair), giving me the level of brightness I wanted. I tend to come in HATING how my hair is looking at the moment, telling Chloe “do what you need to do,” and get to leave with boosted confidence.Anyone I’ve recommended to visit Chloe has left pleased with their new look.Services: Haircut
