Went to the dollar general, Store in Jeffersonville, Indiana store number 1715. Spent $135.00. I paid the cashier walked out. The door was parked in front of the door. Listed an item that I just purchased out of my cart and it broke into. The item cost $10.00. I walked right back into the store had not been out of the store for less than two minutes. I went to the cashier that just rang up the item and told him that when I picked the item up to place it into my car. It broke into two pieces. I asked that the item be replaced. He went and spoke with the manager, and he refused to replace it. Stated once I walk through the door it was mine. I explained that I hadn’t even got the item into my car when the item broke into two pieces. The manager was very very very rude. She refused to give me her name. She refused to give me corporate’s number. She refused to give me her supervisor. When I asked the other cashier what her name was, he told me he did not know her name. I would like a manager to get in touch with me , please because this behavior is unacceptable and I won’t be back to this Dollar General!!! I came to this Dollar General at least twice a week. If anyone knows how I can get in touch with corporate over this matter, please reach out to me. Thank you

The older lady here kicked out someone with a service dog demanding to see papers.According to the Americans with Disabilities Act you are only allowed to ask TWO questions.Is this a service dog?What task is it trained to preform?Also per federal law a service animal user is not required to have nor show any kind of registration, certificate. Documentation because most don't have that. There is no such thing as a registered service dog.It is not within your rights to demand documentation and i hope that the lady either sues or talks to corporate about this incident.( i may still call corporate and complain once I have my documentation and dates put together. )So to be clear your employee violated the ADA and federal law.You need to have ALL your employees retrained on the ADA.I won't be coming here because they descriminate against disabled persons.

Been coming to this store for years at least three to four times a week since it's close to home. Recently was profiled at the self scan by a lady with glasses as if I was stealing after purchasing $100 worth of stuff. The rest of the staff has always been very friendly and know me and my family by face since we come there so often. Every time I go into the store and she's there she immediately starts eyeballing me and follow me around the store which is okay but I think she needs to be more aware of how she treats customers especially people of color.

Pam and her team Candace, Nicole, Shay and Leslie are the absolute Best I have ever experienced at any DG site. I live local and come to only this store due to the grew and manager. My reasoning is simple, they get it done! Work well under the pressures of customers and their truck loads. Always smiling and making me feelWelcomed. I love this store! Thank you all! For going above and beyond and making it a friendly welcoming experience each and everytime! I know your job isn’t easy and the pride you allAs a team put into your store is simply the best!!
