They said I needed a battery but didn’t. Returned it. They kept $20 from the return because of a “core fee”. Asked what it was and they said “you’re returning it so you don’t get a core fee back”. Kept repeating “core fee”. Would not explain. Great way to lose my business, scammers.

The website said they were the only auto parts store in the region that either carried or had genuine Honda ATF in stock. After driving 40mins to the store I learned that it lied. There wasn't even a spot on the shelf for it. I've never liked Advanced Auto Parts and this sealed their fate with me as well as all other auto parts stores in general. As much as I hate to push people to Amazon, you're much better off going there because all auto parts stores have become a joke. They don't have parts in store, they cost more, the useful help and insight are a thing of the past. I can order what I need from Amazon and get it cheaper, quicker and with better understanding than I can from these type of stores. It's truly the end of an era.

Another nice Advance Auto Parts that I've been to over in Jeffersonville. Looks nice on the inside has some security cameras which makes me feel at ease.

Staff is derogatory to customers whom are part of the LGBTQ community. I was verbally told I’m not welcome here and to never come back. I was chased out to the parking lot by assistant manager Zack. A corporate complaint has been filed. I hope the footage of the employee chest bumping me as a physical threat becomes public at some point.

Bigotry by employees like Zack is uncalled for. It seems he has hate in his heart towards gay people. On a personal level for him, it shows lack of education. But it’s also wrong on a corporate level, and shows lack of employee training on your behalf. End Result: We’re all consumers who choose where to spend our money in this economy. Find a better business to support.
