We had Shelly's design a wet bar for our basement project. The design was wonderful. We ordered Schrock Masterbrand cabinets in December they arrived in February with every door and some cabinets damaged. Doors had unpainted areas and nicks in the doors especially corners. Paid 19,000 for a small wet bar area. They want us to just install the cabinets and have a furniture repairman fix the cabinets. I bought new cabinets at the top end price and they want me to settle for used cabinets and doors. Overpriced. Poor quality construction. Poor customer service. Still waiting for door replacements. Promised us weekly updates which have been non-existent. I wish I would have looked at the reviews on Schrock cabinets before ordering these cabinets.

There was trouble from the start, when the rep. took a leave from work with covid and did not return nor put our order in for our custoum cabinets, for kitchen, den, entertainment center, and laundry room, counter tops, or have the order correct. Our cabinets are beautiful, but the installation was a nightmare. We have had 2 different installers and neither could get them correct. We had to tell them how to install the cabinets, not mentioning they had put up the cabinets 3 different times and still have it wrong. Put us back months on our electrician, plumbing, etc. We had also purchased all new appliances, since the cabinets was taking so long to install, our appliances don't even fit the cabinets and they tell us they only install cabinets not appliances. They only offered a vanity for one our bathroom with counter top. Again, our cabinets are beautiful, but the whole other process was horrible. We are now 7 months into the nightmare. They had forgotten crown molding, sides pieces for the cabinets, they still have to redo our kitchen cabinets because they are still wrong. We have scratched doors, chipped corners, bust from the screwdrivers etc.Services: Delivery

My new Kemper cabinets (7 months old) in my kitchen are made by Kemper. They were installed by a local contracting company. The cabinets are poor quality. When they arrived I took out the drawers so that I could line them. There are holes, the eraser at the end of a pencil could fit into the holes. These holes are not noticeable when the drawers are in place. Immediately, I had a couple of pieces replaced before the contractor was finished with the project. Less than 6 months passed when the cabinets have chipped. When several contract companies came into my house to give me quotes they commented how well my old cabinets looked. Comments like, "your family was not hard on your cabinets, or your cabinets look good." Now its only my husband and I. We are still not hard on our cabinetry. I have a cabinetry kit to handle nicks that occur. I should not have to use a kit when only a short amount of time has passes. Very worrisome what the cabinets are going to look like in 5 years! (My original cabinets were 33 years old.) Also, I have followed the cleaning instructions for the cabinets. It is not working for removing the smudges etc. Very disappointed with these cabinets.Service: Cabinet construction & installation

My name is Jim, I have purchased many Thomasville items, from household furniture to cabinets for a kitchen and now family room. I have consistently given Thomasville my business based on great product selection and exceptional customer service. My recent experience has shaken my faith in Thomasville products commitment to customer service. My wife and I started a full basement family room remodel in fall 2022. The following outlines our experience.* We met with Sandy at the 3400 Highland Ave in Cincinnati OH, store number 3832. Our interactions with Sandy were great, she helped with details of the layout. * We purchased Thomasville cabinets, which looked great on display and had the style/color we wanted. Sandy and other Home Depot design specialists told us that countertops were a 3 to 4 week special order and install.* We paid in full for the cabinets and other items on September 9th. Other items we purchased were flooring, floor leveler and various other project related materials.* We had our contractor begin demolition of the entire basement on October 10th.* All seemed to be going great, the cabinets arrived at the house on November 1st, which we was confirmed by the delivery company Expo.* After talking with the contractor, we ordered countertops. This order was paid for on October 31st. * Expo brought the cabinets before lunch on a Tuesday. As the delivery was in process, my family watched a box of wall cabinets fall from the truck. Delivery men stacked boxes two high on the dolly, which was on the liftgate of the truck. The top box fell to the street below. The delivery man guy stacked it back on the dolly brought it in my garage. He told me to contact Thomasville for damage issues. Needless to say, that cabinet was damaged severely.* I contacted Thomasville and spoke to Dxxx Wxxx in customer service, who implied that I was STUPID. Thomasville sent new cabinets, however the delay and having to adjust every cabinet cost time and money. Several screws that secure the doors broke off while being adjusted. I have attached pictures that show this damage.* Our contractor completed the project. With the numerous mistakes, delays and adjustments, I had to pay him an additional $3,275.00.

It's crazy the problems we've had. We removed everything from the boxes. We found some package damaged. But we found damage that was already repaired. This item should have never left Kemper. It was obvious. We ordered a corner drawer unit. The drawer fronts didnt line up and they tried to fix it with clear caulking. It was terrible. Some tracks didn't work. We had our Kemper sales rep reorder all the damaged drawer fronts and a complete corner unit and after weeks of waiting. They came in wrong. We have flat drawer fronts they shipping recessed. We have a 15 in cabinet on both side of our microwave they shipped one 15 in and a 12. Still waiting on the other 15 in. Very frustrating. Kitchen still isnt done. Started this project in September. Three stars I'm being generous.Service: Cabinet construction & installation

We had purchased a new dishwasher and encountered an issue after installation. There is a gap between our Thomasville Cabinet and the Miele dishwasher- even though my husband meticulously measured the open space. Our building's engineer suggested contacting Home Depot in order to secure a fill-in strip to eliminate the open area. We had ordered the cranberry finished Thomasville cabinets approx. 15 years ago and a replacement set of a two door (another issue with appliance-refrigerator installation- not cabinet quality) approx two years ago.Home Depot was very disorganized and could not find records of either order. They suggested that we contact Thomasville (MasterBrand is the mfr) to see if they had a record of the order, color and necessary new part number. My husband spoke to Kim Erdosy, a MasterBrand customer service representative. Ms. Erodsy was not only able to locate our orders including cabinet color (discontinued of course), but offer suggestions on how to fix the issue. She suggested ordering an unstained part, info on matching varnish color and where to obtain said stain), and offered a professional contact whose business is restaining and cabinet repair. Our Thomasville cabinets have held up throughout the years and still look great. Years of wear and tear has taken a minor toll and it is heartening to know they can be refreshed as needed by independent operators. Also, Ms. Erdosy was a pleasure to deal with as she was personable, professional and efficient. My husband said it was a very productive telephone interaction due to Ms. Erdosy's extensive knowledge. We both look forward to many more years of use of our cabinets and highly recommended purchasing Thomasville through an authorized dealer as needed.
