Now that I have the title in hand I can give my review about XL1 Motorsport. The beginning of July they listed a 2017 gmc 2500. I drove 3 hours to go look at it. Truck had a message on the dash about emissions xx miles till 65mph max speed. And frank told me the check engine light was for a NOX sensor that was on order and supposed to arrive Monday. They wouldn’t budge on the price any I told them to fix the tail light (cracked) and fix the check engine light and I would purchase it. We agreed to the terms. Frank talked to my bank about getting paid he didn’t like the way they worked so made me spend $36 extra to overnight him a check that he still didnt do anything with till we picked up the truck. I came back the following friday to pick up the truck. They still didn’t have the tail light and didn’t send the parts runner to get the light till we was there. Had to wait on them for over an hour to get the light and install it. After we finally left Indy I made it about 2 hours and 15 min from the house and the check engine light came on again. I called frank and told him it came back on. I checked the code at an autozone came back to a p2002 DPF code. His exact words was those are cheap scanners we have a $10000 scan tool that didn’t show anything. But he would check with his mechanic to see if there was anything else when he scanned the truck. After taking the truck to my mechanic it was deemed the dpf was bad and that the check engine light was was cleared the tues or Wednesday before I purchased the truck. New dpf from the dealer part only cost was $2950. Then I never received the title. Indiana code states a dealer has 30 days to have the title in my hand otherwise I can bring the truck back and get a full refund of purchase price and fees associated with purchase of the truck. He got lucky because after reaching out to the attorney generals office they told me I had to send a letter of demand certified and if I don’t have title within 10 days of him receiving it I can return the truck. Letter got lost in the distribution center in Indianapolis. And about 2 weeks after he sent me all the paperwork so I could send off for the title. This was the worst used car buying experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend to stay away from XL1 Motorsport. They are a scam. They obviously lied about fixing the terms we agreed to. If they was accredited thru the BBB I would give them a bad review on there also. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere this place was a joke.

Absolutely horrible place to work as a mechanic. Frank will try to belittle you and lie to you. Everything was ordered by him but he had to have techs come up from jobs to order the right parts because he would constantly get them wrong or would only order half of the parts needed to complete the job. They will then not bill the job correctly and use it as leverage to try and say that you are only producing 20hr a week (I currently bill 50-80hr flat rate) so you should be paid less. They pulled this on 3 techs while I was there including myself. They try to bully you with threats of being fired even over protected employee rights. They will bait and switch payscales promising 6 figures then after they move your boxes will tell you that they can't afford it and want to pay you half or less. STAY AWAY

I recently bought a 2016 Chevy Tahoe from Frank at XL1 Motorsports. I have to say, the entire experience was a positive one. I had looked at several Tahoes up to this point, but the one at XL1 was, by far, in the best condition!Frank was a pleasure to deal with and was straightforward with me. He arranged my financing and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend Frank if you want to deal with a straight shooter. As far as XL1 Motorsports is concerned, the next time I'm in the market for a new (to me) vehicle, I'm definitely checking their inventory first to see if they have what I want!

Had this truck for 8 months and had nothing but problems. They will make snow cones in hell before I purchase another vehicle from them.

Buyer beware! This place is a joke. Purchased a VW Passat and 45 minutes after leaving the dealership the check engine light came on. Frank did take the car into service to fix it. While it was there the catalytic converter was cut off my car!!! Which to date still has NOT been replaced! They had my car for 2 weeks and fixed nothing! Took it to Audi dealership in Bloomington and $3000 later my car is drivable! My experience with Frank is simply this: he is dishonest and blatantly lies to your face. Zero integrity. Promised to replace the converter! Frank and XL1 ghosted me! Something about a man that can’t look you in eye! Do what you want with this information.

Great experience helping my daughter buy her first car from XL Motorsports. Frank was such a pleasure to work with. There were a couple of minors items that needed addressed before we took delivery and he made sure everything was fixed properly. Highly recommend XL1 Motorsports.

My husband and I took the day off to try to find a quality car when my Dodge Journey blew up after 200,000 miles. XL1 was our last stop having tried a small local dealer in east central Indiana, then a big fancy one in Fishers....then we drove the extra 35 minutes to check out a listing we just had to see. Frank was great - the whole staff was. Took their time with us, low key, honest, insightful, genuine. Great price, great vehicle, very customer service driven but in a family kinda way not pushy or "salesy". I work in sales and am extra sensitive to car salesmen - especially because I am a woman. I felt totally respected and engaged in the entire process. Happy with my purchase - highly recommend this small treasure, XL1.

Everyone in this place is very nice people. They’ll help you on whatever you’re needs are. We’ve got several vehicles from there and never had a problem with them.

My husband and his dad drove from Michigan to Indiana to look at a Navigator Reserve L that peaked our interest. Drive also served as good father and son time. Frank and team stayed late without complaint as they looked vehicle over and procured. Good experience. Title took several months and effort to get so we could register for plates, but would recommend XL1.

Frank was most patient with my slow approach to purchase a vehicle. One of the most attentive salesman I’ve met, and I was in sales for 30 years. XL1 had many high quality vehicles on their lot. Would buy there again.

If I could give a negative star I would! I was in contact with Frank multiple times before making arrangements to purchase the vehicle. I was flying to Indiana just to purchase this vehicle. I was told it would be ready when I arrived. HOWEVER it was not detailed when I arrived or filled with gas. Once I got an uber to the dealership I drove the vehicle, and was told to grab some lunch and the vehicle would be detailed when I got back. I got back and the vehicle was still not detailed or filled with gas. After having the vehicle 1 week (probably less than a week) I realized quickly I was sold a piece of junk! Around the spout on the tires had been glued, but were now leaking. The tires have wheel locks on them, but no tool to unlock them. The radio does not work, I purchased an extended warranty that of course will not cover it. I called to tell Frank the radio does not work he then tells me he did not realize it was a touchscreen. I have been extremely patient and nice. BUT today was my breaking point. I purchased the vehicle 1 month ago, go to try to get my tag and the tag office still has not received the title. I call my lender to see if they have the title, she then forwards me an email from Frank dated the middle of last week stating "he would try to get it in the mail to the lender tomorrow." When I spoke to Frank 2 weeks ago he told me the title was in the mail. Clearly that was not true. If I could go back in time and not purchase the vehicle I would, however, I cannot. So hopefully, this keeps someone else from making the same mistake I did.
