Buyer beware! All was great until the claims process. Paid extra for the insurance too. They busted up a few items at a value of about 2k. Wheaton refused the claim saying we couldn't prove they caused the damage. Do not pay top dollar for Wheaton like we did, just to get a very unaccountable claims department.

We had a great experience with Wheaton when they moved several very heavy and high-quality pieces from Northern California to Kansas City. The driver was very communicative and both he and the local mover who helped unload were very careful, courteous, and efficient. I would absolutely use Wheaton again for a long distance move!

I don't normally write bad reviews, but this moving company was by far the worst I've ever dealt with. I moved from Washington to Indiana last July, I am disabled and my mother is elderly, it took us some time to realize HOW MUCH was missing! There was broken, damaged items that the company took pictures of when they made the delivery but my insurance claim on the missing and damaged items was denied. Almost every piece of furniture they moved was damaged in some way, at least three boxes, and several loose items were missing like a 10 foot ladder and garbage can, how do you even lose that? Would not recommend, pay the extra money and get white glove service, because Wheaton is a hard pass if I ever move again.

From the initial quote process, to the unloading of my possessions I was extremely happy with everything. Everyone was helpful and considerate. I would recommend them to anyone!

I give Wheaton a five star rating for several reasons. While their cost was about $1,000 less than those of two other companies, that is not the only reason for their five star rating. Service was great: showed up on time, after a call or text to say they were on their way. Did the packing job smoothly and efficiently and, as it turned out, very well. I had a number of blown glass pieces and other fragile items: all but one survived the trip and my claim was handled quickly and to my total satisfaction. I liked that someone from their office checked with me often during the process, to be sure all was going well. The packers, loaders and unpackers were all friendly, professional and skilled at their jobs. I rarely recommend anything but I would wholeheartedly recommend Wheaton.

Wheaton recently moved our son from our home to his first apartment in another state. Everyone with Wheaton was professional and easy to work with, from the original estimate, to packing, to loading, and to unloading. I would highly recommend Wheaton Moving.

Moving is expensive but they were very helpful and the timeline I was given was spot on.
