I was a new foster parent when I reached out to Kindercare West 86th St. Out of the 12 daycares I called, they were one of the only facilities with an opening. The center Director, Erica, was already familiar with working with foster children and parents, and that made me feel really comfortable enrolling my foster son. Secondly, the teachers are fantastic. My child was very shy and standoffish. However, after a few days at this location, he really opened up. Ms. Marilyn and Mr. Ty were his teachers, and they made him feel so welcome that he opened right up. Now he has a ton of friends and is doing great while preparing for kindergarten. If you are considering daycares, the staff at this location is very hard to beat. They are all very good with kids, and I have never seen a staff so understanding of the unique challenges that come with foster situations.

I was extremely nervous about putting my child in daycare with all of the news that has gone around as far as daycares go. But every single person at this location has made me feel so much better about having my child in daycare. There's photos uploaded continuously updates continuously. Everyone is so nice and caring and you can actually tell that they do care it's not just a job to them. It makes me never want to move so that I don't ever have to change daycare LOL

This daycare is TRASH!! They overcharge for poor service. My toddler had a black eye and they couldn't explain why!! The director and assistant will literally sit there and not speak when you are supposed to feel welcomed. Not even to mention my child had diarrhea for days everytime she attended. Their Food shouldn't be served to a dog!! Uneducated staff members and dirty classrooms and waiting area. Do not send your children here plzzz!!!

I’ve had problems with this daycare since day one. They have poor communication skills. No one wears a mask, they have the school age kids running the daycare. The assistant has poor communication skill. She lies and will make up things that are not true. They dont care for any of the kids there. Everything time I picked my kids up they were dirty, hungry, and uneducated. I’ve already complained to corporate and currently have an investigation going on. Never again! Kindercare has become so trashy, ever since hiring all the new people in there!

We love taking our son to this daycare. He loves playing and learning there and his teachers treat him with the individualized care he needs, while also helping him grow into a kind, caring person.
