This is a convenient location and I'm happy to have the store there. But today I walked in and a cheerful mood; no one was in the store except the two workers. The man closest to me could hear me as I greeted him and spoke of the weathe. I got no response and no smile. I laid my package down and my smile turned to a frown because he ignored me. After seeing my frown, he then responded to my comment about the weather half-heartedly. It's not the customer service I had hoped for or would expect. I was just a package not a person and that was disappointing. May as well have been a robot instead of a man. A bad I could have even got a greeting.

The folks at the South Emerson UPS store around the corner from Saint Francis hospital are very kind helpful and efficient.

They no longer tape up boxes for you and force you to buy their tape at store. The rep said it was a recent change so I asked why they did not have any signs warning of the change so I could have prepared. She shrugged her shoulders. I usually show up more prepared with my boxes taped but was treated like I was taking advantage of the store.
Out of principle I walked down to cvs and bought a roll vs their own. A professional store manager would warn their customers first by politely telling routine, repeat customers to make sure to completely tape up packages before arriving to their store.
Their abysmal Google review rating is telling on how she prefers to manager her store. She is focused on transactional sales vs relationship sales. Unprofessional and a big fail. Go to another UPS store who appreciates their customers

The UPS store does not print UPS labels. Or they do but they charge you $5. How in the world does that make sense?

Shay is awesome. One of the best random interactions I have ever had. If every employee at UPS was like this, I would come every day. I would just figure out a reason to come. Not joking. Shay is amazing

Don’t come here if you want to print. They only provide an email to send the document to and it doesn’t work. No such thing as customer service here. Waited in line for 10-15min to get instructions on how to print then tried sending the email. Worker then proceeded to talk down to me and tell me to input the email address and not the website and to make sure I spelled it right. She was not helpful. So I went out to my car to send the email on my computer. It went thru on my end so I went back in and politely asked her if she got email. She told me yes so I got back in line and waited 15min. I get to the front and ask her to make 20copies. She looks at me and says I don’t have an email. Why would I wait in line for an additional 15min?? If I misheard you, why wouldn’t you say something? Customer service is dead. 1hr ordeal could and should have been resolved in 20min. Now I’m late to a meeting. Thanks a lot UPS!

Went to the store today at 4:30. I guess just before I got there the guy kicked everyone out and said he was sick locked the door. I could see him there sorting boxes when someone went to the door he pulled down the grate and put the shade down so you could no longer see him. Supposed to be open until 6pm.

Don’t waste your time here. Every ups store in the city takes usps packages except this one apparently. And he matter of factly let me know about it and there was no reason to be spoken to that way. The person behind the counter was full of attitude for no reason. If you don’t like your job or dealing with customers maybe you should find another job.
