This place has the best staff ever when it comes to a lady named Makayla. She has helped me in so many ways trying to find information on how to get my furniture either a fixed or be replaced. I have discovered through it that the furniture that I purchased was discontinued mine is a manufactured problem and they told me that they would give me a refund in 2026 when my five year is there, so I will never purchase another living room suit bedroom suit none of the above from this place however, Makayla, she needs a big raise. That girl has a heart of gold and went above and beyond to help.

AMAZING experience! We purchased a sofa and realized it was too big for our house. Even though we took the ottoman home the same day, they accepted the return and gave me a full refund. I purchased another sofa that was smaller. So happy with the customer service given. The GM is a very kind man and all of his staff are great! Great prices too!

Sadly I did not have a great experience today at the room place. As soon as I walked in with my son I was asked what I was there for and I responded I was there bc my son wanted to come check out the store as we were just next door at another store. From the moment we walked in I felt unwelcome especially since I was honest and didn’t say I was there looking for something specific. The man asked me “so your son controls what you do and when I was a kid my dad made me work but I guess that’s the difference of having work ethnic and not.” What that had to do with us being there I’m not sure. The moment my son started to go fast I stopped him and told him we walk slowly in there but the man was right there saying there’s a park down the street you can take him to if he wants to run. I felt like he thought we had no money but reality is we do have money and a thriving business of our own. I just don’t dress fancy or act it. I was trying to be kind. Anyways it really made me uncomfortable and feel awkward trying to walk around in there. It was also my first time ever entering one of these stores. I did not know what to expect or I would have just redirected my son to another place.

As soon as we walk in we are kindly greeted by Lyly and as we are looking around she continues to make sure we don’t need help. Once we were ready Codi appeared and both were very friendly and not pushy at all. They honestly wanted to help me save money. I will review further once my furniture is delivered.

RUN FAR AWAY! (I repeat! RUN!!!!!!!!!!) We purchased a “leather” sectional in November 2018. Within the first year we noticed the seems looked like it might flake. So we were gentle with in. We didn’t have kids. So it was easy to do. It began to flake in 2022. Prior to this we had bought a microfiber sectional sofa from the roomPlace in 2011/2012. We had added the stain guard they recommended, I’m telling you this, wateii spills stained they sofa. It took us 2 times of learning our lesson . Run, run, runUpdate 4/4/2023I reached out as they said in the post below. I spoke with Maria on the phone. She asked for more photos, I sent those in and she told me that I’d hear something Friday. I sent an email on Thursday she then informed me that I’d hear something in 3 business days, well as of this post is been past the three days. And not one reply or resolution. In my eyes they want to “appear” to be concerned about the negative reviews an attempt to deflect from the issue.Unless something is resolved you’re better saving your money and going to a place that will stand by their furniture and a company that manufactures QUALITY furniture .Update 4/5/2023I’m going to stick by my original post when I say RUN RUN RUN.After wasting my valuable time and leading me on to think they might actually stand by their products, they offered me $100 dollars gift card to the room place. Their claim was that I bought the couch as is (which is true because it had a small tear in the back but that seems irrelevant to the massive flaking of the “leather couch”I was sold. The salesmen lied and said “it won’t flake” “it’s leather “.Please run to someplace like Godby furniture. You will get better furniture and can find some great deals. I learned my lesson after spending $2500+ .Horrible customer service/ resolutionUpdate: 4/10/2023They called me and offered me an additional $100 gift card to the room place. I ask Maria, if they still made this couch, so I could buy a replacement piece, she said no. So $200 still doesn’t fix my problem. I’m going to have to find another couple hundred dollars to buy a replacement couch. It’s so sad. That the couch only lasted 5 ish years. Call me crazy but I expect furniture to last 10+ years. Unless you’re willing to throw money in the toilet run!

Really lovely place with a lot of options for you. Such a nice vibe here and good workers. Zaman specifically was very helpful. Even though some prices are a bit pricey , they are good quality and Zaman was so helpful she took the extra step into getting me a discount . Overall good experience.

Sold me a bed with no box spring. It was a new salesperson so it's forgivable. They made amends and delivered a box spring the next day.

Bought couch and barrel chair , chair is broken set up appt to get fixed , took off work waited all day to be told weather is to bad, THE TEMP OUTSIDE IS 60 and sunny never going back.

Purchased a leather power recliner with a matching recliner loveseat that had built in wifi speakers and theatre lights (Shelby St. Store). The problem happened when the two delivery guys in their rush to assemble the two pieces (about 5 minutes) left without supplying the power adapter for the built in speakers and theatre lighting on the love seat. I didn't receive any instruction guide on how to work the wifi speakers. I deserve a lot better for a $279 delivery fee. I called the store to complain, I was given an email address to send my complaint and haven't heard anything yet from them. Also, the furniture care kit they gave me was for wood and fabric not leather.Will not shop there again.

Customer service was excellent. Are sofas were damaged upon delivery and they came and picked them up and brought us two new ones. Only reason it did not get a five-star was delivery guys were in two big a hurry and damaged our first sofa and the extended warranty company is hard to deal with.

We recently had a bad experience with Ashley Furniture so we turned to Room Place. Found the exact dining room table that was discontinued at Ashley Furniture for a much better price and would be delivered this week instead of 12 - 16 weeks just to be discontinued on delivery date.
