This is truly the only gym I have ever stuck with for as long as I have. It’s full of girlies, but it truly is a space for anyone and everyone. There are several class formats, but even if you take the same class with the same instructor each week, you will never grow bored. Classes are creative and fun and the instructors downtown make me feel like a queen. As someone who needs encouragement throughout a workout, TBC is THAT girl. I was worried about the cost of the unlimited membership at first, but I have never regretted investing in myself since joining. It is worth it!

Barre Code Indy (Barre 3) has the best atmosphere for anyone at any fitness level. I went from never working out to almost 300 classes! Barre Code really changed my outlook on fitness and would 10/10 recommend it to anyone!!

I love this studio. Classes are challenging, always different, and instructors give modifications to meet you where you are. There are a variety of class times to fit in a busy schedule.

Even though the classes and instructors are great, the customer service is absolutely disappointing! Due to personal reasons I wanted to cancel my membership and they make it absolutely difficult to do so. Fristly, there is no option to do so on the app or online. Secondly, getting in touch with someone on phone or email is painful! They are non-responsive and make it very hard for you to make any changes to your membership. I would rather sign up on ClassPass and use that to attend their classes, than sign up directly with them. I’m still waiting to hear back on my membership cancellation.

This is the first 'class gym' I've joined. I was extremely nervous when signing up but everyone at the Barre Code was extremely welcoming and positive - they encourage modifications to exercises based on your abilities and the classes are challenging but fun. The three free classes for new members was a great way for me to try different types of classes offered. There is free and easy parking - a big selling point. The app is easy to use to schedule classes and pick your spot. I believe they offer free cancellations up to four hours before your scheduled class, which is a reasonable cancellation policy! They have two individual bathrooms, each with a shower, and two changing rooms. For all of my classes, I did not need to change prior or shower after, but the facilities always look clean. There are lockers to store items, but also hooks available for small bags. The doors are locked five minutes after a class begins for safety. If you are looking for a 'class-based gym' to join, I highly recommend this one.

Such a fun place to workout, the instructors are all so kind and empowering towards everyone. This is the first class oriented gym i’ve been to and i can’t recommend it enough. the space is so inviting and welcoming, i feel so great after each workout. i do the 4 classes a month membership and it’s perfect for my weekly changing schedules.

The Barre Code was exactly what I've been looking for! The workouts are lively and fun, the instructors are so kind and encouraging, and the space is gorgeous. I LOVE the instructors' warmth (every single person has made an effort to chat, learn my name, and ask about my fitness goals/needs), attention to detail, the modifications/enhancements offered to make the classes accessible for all! I am so happy to have found this lovely community.

A very nice barre studio compared to others I have been to. It’s really nice that there is a lot of space, it’s clean, and that there are heated classes. It’s also nice that they offer other types of classes like a kickboxing type class, a cool heavier weight and less impact class, a stretch class, and more. I really enjoyed the instructor Abby as she gave me stretching ideas and modifications I could make for my hip and knees during my second class with her since I have arthritis. All of the instructors were very nice and motivating in general. It’s also got nice facilities, water, and lockers available for personal belongings. I wish I could have continued for longer because I really enjoyed the classes but my knee got injured and I cannot physically do them anymore. I do appreciate that the owner was able to work with me and accommodate this. It’s also nice that you can mix things up because at some small boutique fitness studies you can only do 1-2 different types of classes. Give it a try if you really love dance, kickboxing, weights, or just being able to mix things up at a locally owned boutique fitness studio.

Absolutely best place to workout!! The instructors are so positive and motivating, it’s always so clean, and they are always doing fun challenges. I also love the variety of classes. It has been such a joy joining the Barre Code- I actually look forward to working out here :)

What can I say? I’m obsessed with The Barre Code. From the variety of classes offered, to the knowledgeable and encouraging instructors, everything they offer is top notch. I spent the last 6+ years as a member of a CrossFit gym doing high intensity interval classes (HIIT) but my body started to break down and I knew I needed to change it up. I was worried that a barre studio wouldn’t fit my needs, that I would lose muscle and core strength, etc. Boy, was I wrong! After 1.5 years as a Barre Code member, I am leaner, stronger, and my core is the most solid it’s ever been. I’ve never been addicted to working out, but I now look forward to class each day and can’t wait to get my sweat on.

One of my favorite places to be! The instructors are always so positive, helpful, and supportive and you always leave feeling refreshed. Couldn’t say more positive things about Barre or the Barre community!!!!
