“Cheap, in and out, friendly staff, easy to find things, good value and quality items, can come out with a ton of things for less than $80 which is impossible at any other grocery store”
“Received a $25 coupon to go to this commissary in the mail from the government. was pleasantly surprised at the selections and especially the pricing, we saved over $100 vs shopping at our usual local stores. Will definitely shop there again.. Honestly did not know this commissary existed. Overall a very positive shopping experience and next door was a class 6 and their prices were also fantastic. Worth the drive..”
“The only issue is selections, limited. The items purchased were high quality. As stated item selection limited, not much of a variety. Unlike the super stores Aldi is more of a specialty store. Good selection of non GMO products”
“I love this place!! Prices are good .Has what you need and the meat is really good ..love the different cheeses..and that goodie iles are packed with so much awesome stuff..and I safe quite a bit of money too.”
“Good store. More non bioengineered food to choose from than many other stores. Their produce could be better, I've gotten a few items that were bad. Had to toss all but 1 onion from a bag in less then a week.”
“Wonderful organization that provides food to families in financial need. Volunteer tasks are very organized and well spread out for social distancing. I feel comfortable coming here to help out during covid because they are very careful about sanitizing everything and keeping the safety guidelines.”
“The low prices of Aldi's is unmatched. The selection is great also. For anyone looking for nutritious meals on a budget, I highly recommend Aldi's. From produce to meats, Aldi's has you covered. I know this post sounds like a commercial, but visit Aldi's. You won't regret it.”
“Love shopping here! You have to look at what your buying however they have really great items at reasonable prices. We love their thin cut pork chops and the boneless chicken breast. The selection of frozen vegetables is great.”
“A wonderful Aldi! Kept so clean, stocked well, and food very fresh. This store is larger with an open-air feel. The aisles are wider and well organized. I prefer this one over other Aldi locations.”
“This particular Aldi is older and not as nice as others in the area. It also feels a lot busier due to the density of the neighborhood. For the most part the shopping experience is the same but if you come later in the day, you might not find everything you were looking for.”
“It would be five stars, but they have a lot of rude employees that do not want to serve the customers! Luckily, they have a high turnover rate so if an employee is rude to you, chances are they won’t be there the next week!”
“Meijer is killing the game. ONLY store that is open untill midnight everyday so we go somewhere to turn to when you realize u need a thing or two and its passed 11pm. Orher wize we would be bumed out untill the following day. So yea to meijer”
“I don’t go to Indianapolis much as a truck driver, but it’s nice to find a Mexican grocery store that not only has enough space for truck parking, but the folks are friendly enough to get me guacamole at the check out because I couldn’t find it. I’m saving this on my Google maps for future reference.”
“This store is owned by Leixa Molina. She is from Venezuela. This space is filled with wonderful things. There are canned goods of all types. There is a wide variety of hot sauces which intrigue me!! Flour, Masa, oils, candy, cold drinks, cheeses, meats, produce, -whoo! Too many great things to mention. If you like Charras, they are here. I see they evev have Charras with Jalapeño. I love Tamarind. Come in and pick up some Tamarind or a Jarrito Tamarind drink. Try something new. You never know until you try. The kids will love the choice os cookies and candy. There's plenty to choose from. Look in the cooler and pick up a Jumex Peach Nectar or a Jumex Strawberry Nectar. This is such a great store and Leixa is a blessing to talk to. Her daughter Ashley is 12 years old. She is as sweet as can be. Leidary makes a cheesecake that looks amazing. Don't pass it up!”
“It's my go to store, easy to get in and out of. I do wish they would open the DIY belt fed checkouts again. It's tough to pack $300.00 worth of groceries into a cart and only have a 12x12 space to work with. If we are going to do all the work...... give us more space!!”
“Love this mini super market! Makes me feel like back home, in Mexico. Excellent products, amazing location and friendly staff. Good for practicing your Español. You gotta check it out.”

“Good groceries. Also the Meijer still gives the Veterans and police, service workers a free ANY size drink for appreciation. Get n Go cropped it to a free 20 oz. They did away with the sny size!
Least those 2 companies do this ! I have not found any others. Please inform if you have!”
“Amazing near Eastside market! This will be my new quick trip shopping place. We needed about 30lbs of meat for a party tomorrow and popped in here before we made the trip to our usual spot on the west side. I’m so glad we did! They had everything we needed and more. The premade Guac is great. The staff was helpful, facility was clean and it wasn’t crowded. Lots of fresh produce, amazing meat selection. Lots of grocery items.”
“The local spot. If you live in the area, this is the spot to go for your quick restock.
Hot deli has some of the best fried chicken in town!
Catfish on Wed & Friday.”
“Great selection of produce.
The Perks app is not very good. No easy way to locate coupons. Scan your own groceries is specific to certain machines and often closed. Update January 2025. Nothing has really changed. Self scan in the app is rarely open and limited number of items. Where Meijer exceeds expectations is price and selection, especially cheese and produce.”
“Amazing selection of Mexican and Central American goods, including foods, candies, condiments and more Also full meat and cooked goods counter and half a dozen tables to eat something yummy right in the store”
“I love this place its like a second home!!! I lov they're service and I know the people .they're so nice I give them 5 stars my relitives and are close friends with the owners too”
“This place is good for fresh sourdough bread and large variety of wine and whiskey, rest at same like other grass stores, but price wise it is cheaper than Whole Foods and expensive than Kroger’s”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I absolutely love this Safeway and want to give them five stars! Every Christmas or holiday, they’re often the only grocery store open, and they handle the rush of last-minute shoppers like pros. The store is fully staffed, the lines move quickly, and the employees keep a positive attitude the whole time—no stress or bad vibes anywhere.
One of the best things about this location is that there are no self-checkouts. Every visit means you’re greeted and helped by real people who work hard and serve the community. That’s worth paying a little extra for, in my opinion.
Also, shout-out to the fried chicken wings in the deli—they are a 10/10! Prices can be a bit high, but the quality service and friendly staff make it worth it, especially during the holidays.”
“Best meat around! Prices of meat have went up but if you go to other stores to compare the quality it can't be beat. It's cut daily just ask the meat crew. Sometimes you gotta wait to get it cut, that tells you how fresh it is. If you don't see it just ask they can get it for you.”
“I went in at 6am asking for these balloons to be filled up. To be expected, the regular lady at the flower counter was not there yet. They still found someone to blow these up for me. Thank you!!!”
“Clean, bright, and calm atmosphere. Reasonable prices on certain things. One stop shop. I could shop for hours at this location. Tends to be crowded, especially around rush hours, but typically an easy and quick check out.”
“Jackie at the Kroger on Rockville Road was absolutely wonderful. I’ve never been able to figure out digital coupons, and she took the time to patiently help my mom and I at the self-checkout. She showed us how to use the app and stayed with us while we scanned our items to make sure we understood it. It was more than just doing her job....she was genuinely kind, patient, and sweet. That level of care really made our day, and it didn’t go unnoticed.”

“We are visiting the Old Nortside and I popped in for a quick trip. The store manager Mohamed was super, helping me wrangle the Fry’s account I have to work at Kroger! Then, the cashier. Sandra was sweet and friendly. This is a great place to shop.”
“ALDI seems to have the lowest food prices available in local stores - on average. Pet food also seems low-priced. Non-food prices don't seem anything special. You may need a quarter to unchain a shopping cart.”
