Very nice hotel. We were pleased with this accommodation and traveling with a toddler it was fun to use the pool and the gated outdoor yard. Breakfast was also very decent.

Excellent accommodations- clean spacious suites with basic kitchen facilities. 24 hour Fitness room and indoor pool open till 11 pm (great if you arrive in the evening and still want to swim.) Complimentary hot breakfast buffet has it all- eggs, meat, fruit bar, pastries, cereal, and waffle maker. Beautiful courtyard offers a secluded green space (that is a welcome respite from the surrounding parking lots). Not close to downtown, but convenient access to interstate/highway.
Rooms: Spacious and clean, nice basic kitchen amenities.
Safety: Safe commercial area.
Walkability: Not easily walkable. Car dependent.
Food & drinks: Excellent complimentary hot breakfast buffet.

There were good and bad things about our 3 day stay. Firstly, we booked a handicap accessible room online, but were not assigned that room once we arrived. They did have a wheelchair for us which was nice. The bed was so uncomfortable that neither one of us could sleep through the night. We tried the pull-out sofa, but it was worse. My husband ending up sleeping on just the sofa part despite his bad back. The lighting in the vanity area was like candlelight, so I couldn't see myself to apply makeup. The vent fan in the bathroom did not work. The hotel hallways and elevator felt like a sauna. We also had to get new room keys 2 separate times because they stopped working even though we kept them in the paper sleeve they provided. Rooms could use a brighter palette. The murky brown on brown decor with dim lighting felt blah and sad. I intended up recleaning our bathroom before we used it because it wasnt 100% clean. Soap scum was evident.
The positives were that the staff was nice, our room had a full kitchen, there's an indoor pool, hotel location was good, hot breakfast was great, the lobby area was comfortable & attractive, and they're pet friendly. I'd probably try this hotel chain again at a different location just to see if it's any better. Solid C+

Update: I was refunded the difference in price after the stay. I still think that communication could've been better, but they did address my concerns.
So when we arrived they didn't have our room type any more. The person moved us to new rooms, and that wiped out the locked in price (on the previous tax rate) and put in the new tax rate, which was 3% higher, and on as pricey a stay as this was, that's a lot.
And they insisted they couldn't help, and that I would need to talk with a manager who wasn't available. I called to leave a message for the manager to call back and they never did.

Nice rooms. Very nice outdoor areas with grills. Dog walking paths with poop bags. Excellent complementary breakfast. Do not have to pay to clean your laundry

Our family stayed at Staybridge Carmel for two nights on our trip to Indy to visit the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. Everything was fantastic from check-in to check out. Sanela the front desk attendant was extremely helpful and so kind to our boys. The complimentary breakfast was very well prepared and delicious with new options each day for the main dish. The rooms were very comfortable and extremely clean. The pool was the perfect size for multiple families to enjoy at one time. A really great experience all the way around.
Food & drinks: The breakfast was awesome!

Appliances and couch were a bit dated, but the room was clean and well stocked for extended stay if need be. Clean sheets and towels as well. Good breakfast and complimentary free gallon-sized bags of ice, 2 per guest. Nice perk. Search the actual location site before you book. That gave us the best deal. Also, great dog walk area and low dog fee.

Solid hotel all around, clean rooms that are well kept and maintained. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Loved the dinner snack and beer they offered from 530-730. The site has a pool, gym, business center, laundry, outdoor dining and grilling, and a great walking trail for dogs that's lit at night. Also a sundries shop. I would definitely stay again.
Safety: Clean and well lit.

Excellent service. Knocked off 1 star because the dog walking trails had garbage and broken glass bottles and the hand soap in the bathroom was too high for the kids to use... I had to pick them up so they could wash their hands. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

After about 7 round abouts we got to our suite which had a kitchen... that was awesome enough but as nice as the rooms and areas appeared theu were also very run down.
