“Excellent used section! It's great that you can trade in your old used discs for store credit. Pretty good selection overall and also blanks for dying.

Snagged a newly released electron entropy ($18) and a small MVP umbrella ($22).
It seems the rewards points system and all account info has carried over from Disc Crazy and remains the same, so that's a positive.

FYI: I brought my $30 store credit winnings from a Disc Crazy tournament in late 2023 and management did not honor it. (Which is understandable). Just thought it was worth a shot to ask since I had relocated out-of-state since then and was unaware they changed ownership

“I’ve been coming to ICS a long time.
Most recent bike purchase was a Green Surly Disc Trucker. It was summer of 2020 and I couldn’t go into the store, but the employee rolled it out so I bought a great investment that day.

What keeps me coming back? The customer service is unparalleled. Today, I was helped by two (new to me) folks by the names of Clay and Nick. They were fantastic, fixed my initial wheel issue at no cost, then I spent 80 on accessories because I was having a great time ?

Seriously, though: Indy Cycle Specialist is the top review/recommendation, local vintage biz’s aside, I’ll ever post. And there is not a single bike shop in the greater Indianapolis area that stands close to ICS

. The owners are both very hands-on, there all the time, and very friendly.

If you haven’t been, do yourself a big favor.”

“Larry at Fleet Feet Broad Ripple was awesome! My wife recently has gotten more into running and started experiencing pains due to bad shoes. He listened to her goals and what was going on, analyzed her gait, and ultimately helped her find a pair of shoes and inserts that has her jazzed to log more miles this fall! Thank you so much for making this process easy. For sure we will be back for more shoes!”

“Bought a bench from bells of steel showroom and loving it so far. Wasn't to hard to put together and sturdy. Guy at the counter(forgot his name) was a great help and seemed enthusiastic about the equipment. Can't wait to continue buying what I need from them in the future.”

“The perfect store to get girls lacrosse gear. While many stores claim they are "experts" and sadly they give you misinformation. Empire Lacrosse is very professional and knowledgeable. The owner helped us pick out the right stick for my daughter and even explained the difference in sticks that were available. I was very happy to see that they carry a wide selection of brands. It is so refreshing to meet someone who values and loves what they do...instead of just trying to make a quick buck.”

“I’ve visited plenty of Fly Fishing stores in Indiana such as their main competitors Moving Water Outfitters and Orvis Carmel, all these shops are wonderful but Flymasters is different. When I visited here I was a new angler who had a lot of questions, and the person working had a lot of answers! He was very knowledgeable and genuine, I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything, overall I felt like a friend more than a customer here. I love the staff here, and even though I only visited once I will definitely come sometime again!”

“Went in for a driver fitting with Larry. I currently have a Sim 2 Max which is not that old but wanted to see if a newer model would improve things for me. Larry first had my try a new shaft in my current driver and then a few new drivers. We ended up figuring out that my current driver is pretty much optimized for my swing speed and my dispersion would be helped more by a lesson than a new driver. Never tried to force a new model on me at all and even gave me a coupon for a free lesson to work on my face to path.”

“Customer Service - 5/5Competitive Pricing - 5/5Variety/Quality of Equipment - 5/5In case it benefits anyone else, below is my detailed shopping journey. Regardless, thank you to Chandler for your patience in answering my many questions, your knowledge on the pros/cons with different brands and models, and your friendly and consultative customer engagement with me from the moment I walked into the store. Also, thank you to Garrett for your consultative customer engagement and assistance in my purchase over the phone.I spent 6+ months researching walking pads, then walking pads vs treadmills, then just treadmills. The amount of walking pad brands that exist is insane and the variety of reviews for them is even greater - there is no single brand that consistently ranks high/is a market leader. Even if you only use the pad occasionally, the majority of reviews mention something going south with it within *months* after purchasing - whether that's the motor burning up, electronic components malfunctioning or the deck breaking. While they're cheaper than a treadmill ($150-$500 vs. $800-$6,000), the price difference ends up not being a selling point if you're having to replace the machine within months or having continual maintenance issues. In terms of treadmills, there are ~15 main brands and all of them sell models at different price points. Landice is the top of the line, but imo it's unnecessary to spend that much money unless you're a semi-pro athlete or a very serious runner. Echelon, ProForm, Bowflex and NordicTrack tend to serve the Peloton-type crowd, since they have tons of screen and class options. Precor, Life Fitness and Matrix are generally the big machines you see if you're a member at a local gym aka commercial treadmills. Sole, Horizon, Spirit and True tend to be middle-of-the-road options.I wanted a treadmill that didn't cost >$2K, had low impact on joints and didn't take up a ton of space. Once I consolidated reviews based on these selling points, I focused my in-store shopping on Spirit and True. I ended up going over my budget a little bit to purchase the True TM50 treadmill, because it has a maintenance-free, orthopedic belt.”

“Great store!! The worker was super helpful when I asked for a similar or the same pair of shoes as the one I was wearing.

I also got a pair of sunglasses. They're much, much cheaper than rayban, etc., and easily just as nice. They have a lot of options and you can try them all on to find one (or more) that you like.

Id return to any of the Runners Forum stores in the Indy metro for my future shoe needs.”

“We stopped in to grab some basic equipment (mask, goggles, booties, fins) and Tom was extremely helpful. He lives and breathes diving and knows the industry and the equipment better than just about anyone you could meet.He has a ton of inventory and a large selection of top quality equipment. His prices are as good as or sometimes better than what you'll find online. Also - you'll get an earful of good advice and diving wisdom for free.”

“I was invited for a private shopping party and a sound bath. This was my first time to Athleta and to a sound bath. I absolutely loved everything about this experience!!! The store manager Donna is such a delight to talk with and shop with. I really enjoy how nice the staff is and how helpful they are. After having purchased a bra there and wearing it I can say they offer great quality clothes for women. Can't say enough great things about this store!”

“I love this location! The staff is always helpful and the selection seems bigger/more varied than others. I had the pleasure to meet Bill today in the golf department today. Not only did he give me some suggestions on clubs, he even gave/showed me tips on my putting game. Go see him and he’ll get you right!”
