Dave brought me up to date from my old fashioned security system that comes with your home from the builder. I didn't realize I was over paying monthly AND could have better technology in my home. Now I can control my whole house on my phone. Dave is super helpful and knows his stuff. He did a great job all around. Very patient with those not up to date. Answered all my questions. Very pleased with our new security system. Wife already set off the alarm once and I got a call right away. All functions worked as they should. Feeling secure and tech savvy now. Great! Fast and courteous from the phone call to the unit replacement. The unit had a leak in the coil which caused layers of ice, so the first tech couldn't do anything until it thawed. They came back out the very next day to discover the leak and got us topped up on coolant until they could get back out to replace the unit. It held out and we were fine! They got us a really good deal on the new unit and made it affordable with financing.

The salesman put together a professional presentation, spent time to give us 6 options (3 electric, 3 gas) with finance options, and with supporting data about each furnace and the potential savings. The installers were courteous, professional, and on time. They were careful when removing the old furnace and bringing in the new equipment. They went about their work quickly. When they were finished, they took the time to explain the new thermostat, the operation of the furnace and some tips on properly using the new installation. The installation took less time than I anticipated

BEWARE— I received poor, unprofessional service from this Company. Called them to repair my whole house humidifier by referral of the manufacturer of the equipment. They came out and the entire unit fell off the furnace once the technician touched it. The service call was to repair the water line only. Airtron expected me to pay for the repair of the unit that was affixed fine before their arrival. Upon speaking with the manager of the technician, they were unwilling to share in the price of reattaching the unit or continue with the repair. Very unprofessional and poor service.

In April, at the urging of an Airtron technician, we decided to replace our 17-year-old furnace before it became a problem. We've had a service agreement with them for 20 years and just 2 weeks ago, they did the first semiannual check on our new furnace and found no problems. On Saturday afternoon, we noticed our house seemed chilly. We left for a concert at 5 pm and when we got back at 10 pm, our house was 62 degrees and it was clear the furnace was not working. We called Airtron, only to be told that there were no technicians available and that we would have to call back at 7:30 Sunday morning. We called Sunday at 7:30 am, but there was no one to take our call and we were instructed to call back at 8 am. We were then assigned a window of noon to 5 pm for the technician to arrive. The temperature inside our house was 59 degrees and has since dropped to 55. The technician finally arrived today at 3 pm Sunday to discover that we need an inducer. He told us that the parts department shuts down on Sundays at noon, so we have to wait until Monday to get our brand new furnace repaired, the one that is all-of-a-sudden not working during the first extended cold snap. He also told us that he has replaced the same part after only one month of operation on another similar unit. The sales person never mentioned anything about this to us. We have been loyal Airtron customers for 20 years and throughout that time, we have continually purchased the service plan with the understanding that we would get priority service at any time. In addition, their website advertises 24/7 availability, which is not true (turns out there is limited availability after hours and no parts availability on Sunday afternoons). Now, it's Monday and I have been told that we can expect a technician between noon and 5 pm, despite our service agreement that states "priority service every day of the week." I spoke with three people, all of whom gave me nothing but excuses. The highest ranking of the three was mad at his technician for being honest with us and told me he wanted "to make it go away as quickly as possible." This company is more interested in taking your money than solving your problems. Take our advice and look elsewhere.

Great. My husband and I purchased our home in August, and the HVAC/AC unit was older than both of us (35 years +). We had to have the whole thing replaced, and all new ductwork put in throughout the house. Our house was built in 1950 and not very well taken care of, so I'm sure it was not the easiest job for them. Price was more than fair, the communication was excellent, and everyone we dealt with was incredibly professional. We are extraordinarily happy with the work done in our home. We had some issues with a separate contractor we had hired to fix some rotten flooring underneath where the HVAC system was to be installed completing their part timely, so Airtron had to wait on us, but they stayed in touch the entire time - it was roughly a month of delay. Everything was clean when they left, and they even replaced all of the vent covers throughout our house, which was an added surprise (none of them matched previously). We would absolutely use these guys again, we were both so pleased with the work, timeline, communication, and professionalism we saw on this not so fun job. Wonderful company!!!

Our old Amana AC died of a refrigerant leak and the best solution was to replace it. We compared several quotes and strategies and opted for a Bryant AC installed by Airtron--by very far the least expensive of all options on the table. Three challenges: getting rid of the heat pump we had before (gas has become cheaper than electricity), making it work with the existing Amana gas furnace, and connecting it to our thermostat. One day after installation problems started because the thermostat was sending the wrong signal, forcing the AC to never stop churning even when turned off at the thermostat. Ice accumulated from the inside coil unit ll the way to the outside unit, without cooling the house. A service person came and worked 3 hours without pinpointing the cause. A supervisor came, identified the problem after one hour, replaced the thermostat with a temporary one so that the AC could work, which it did. He said he'd come back the following week with a new two-way thermostat. He didn't but nine days later another service person came by and decided that he could do better by starting from scratch: he removed the temporary thermostat, removed the wiring at the unit (AC and furnace) and rewired everything afresh and reconnected everything to our prior thermostat. He tested everything several times. Everything now works flawlessly, and we are very happy about that. The name of that last service man is Matt Escue. He was the most competent employee of the lot, but all three worked equally hard to solve the problem over many hours in all. So in the end we are very satisfied and found them all very congenial to work with.
