Visited the Sherwin-Williams store in Castleton ten minutes before closing. The associate working was already helping other customers, nevertheless he was pleasant & professional, & graciously provided all of the many varied color samples i wanted. He went above & beyond to help me under the circumstances even though he probably wasn't expecting me to buy there. I let him know that i was shopping at Lowe's who referred me to the Sherwin-Williams store for specific color cards. Although Lowe's sells the products, cards for those colors were unavailable as of end July 2023, pending an update to their Sherwin-Williams display. SW - First Rate service!

I’m super upset with the older gentleman here at this location every time I go their so buy paint and supplies he always has a attitude and this last time I go and ask him a question he ignores me and gives me his back and walks away. Also how do you work at this store and can’t help out by answering simple questions about your products that you sell. Now I don’t even want to shop at this location I would rather drive 20 more min . Smh

Manager told me a more important customer had to be helped and he didn't have time for me. I don't care if it was 15 minutes before your shift ended, Customer service should come first. Will never shop again.

Bill is trash.. his low patience was annoying.. and his races comments enfuriated me. Since he couldn't find my file he ask if this was a mexican company.. then sended me on my way without tinting my paint making me waste time. We need to be more professional regardless of skin color. Hispanic bring a lot of business to sherwin and we don't need this type of disrespect. Someone need it to bring it up. I cant imagine how he treats non inglish speakers.LETS DO BETTER.

Customer service provided by Rocky at the Castleton shop is awful. This has been my go to shop for the past 15 years, but the employees are not like they used to be. Moving to the Fishers location from now on.

I've been buying at this store for many years, as did my late cousin for his commercial painting and wallcovering business. I've had some excellent service and products from this store.But we're dealing with a situation right now that is distasteful enough that I feel compelled to write a review.I sent my contractor in with a piece of manmade decking to get exterior deck/porch paint mixed to match, with our intention being to use the paint on wood deck boards that are also part of the extensive deck system. My contractor, who is also a pastor at a sizable church, affirms that he properly described our need to the store employee.Unfortunately, we have now discovered --- and the store and district manager have acknowledged --- that the employee did not in fact mix porch/deck paint, but INTERIOR paint.No wonder our deck boards are sticky and every chair or ladder is pulling paint.Unfortunately, all the district manager is willing to do is replace the gallons of paint, which obviously doesn't come close to solving our problem. The store has told us that we can't simply apply the proper paint over the incorrect paint; that the improper paint would have to be sanded off. Have you ever tried to sand rough, uneven deck boards, let alone ones covered with sticky paint?I'm keeping this review objective and businesslike, even though that's not what I feel like writing.I'll simply say that I am extremely disappointed in the service we received at the store level, and even more so in the wholly-insufficient offer made by the district manager, who asserts that my contractor never said that we were painting deck boards. Really? Are we that stupid? Or are your employees just that dense and careless?If Sherwin Williams is listening, I'd welcome a new proposal about how you can get us out of this mess you caused.
