I lived there for a year and had the WORST living experience of my life. The maitenence guy is the only reason this place deserves 1 star.

My apartment was infested heavily with cockroaches and they haven't done anything about it. I didn't want to break my lease so I had to wait until the end of my lease but at the end they not only didn't give back my 300$ deposit but also charged me an extra 282$ for painting and cleaning (I did clean the apt before leaving and haven't done any damage to the walls!). I have to mention that before I leave I actually asked the maintencance person that how much should I clean the apartment and he was like "if you just take your trash and every thing out and clean you will be fine and get back your deposit".I disputed the charge but they never responded and instead I got a letter from debt collection!
So be careful about cockroach infestation and make sure to take images and videos when moving in and out so they could not charge you!

I've been a tenant at Saxony Court for a year now, and I've been a tenant with Stallard since 2018. Because Stallard is an awesome property management company. The apartments I've rented from them have been nice, utility expenses are reasonable, and rare maintenance issues are handled right away. Apt. managers are professional and the maintenence man that has handled my issues is super cool and awesome. When rent rates skyrocketed after Covid, Stallard, unlike so many others, did not raise my rent rate by hundreds of dollars. Any large property management company will have some tenant complaints, but I personally don't have any. My Saxony Court neighbors are polite and the property is peaceful. Thank you, Stallard.

This complex is incredible for the price. As a graduate student, I never thought I would be able to afford an updated two bedroom, but here we are. I love that there is a Starbucks across the street, they’re putting in a new brewery, and there are other little shops/pizza/breakfast across the way too. While the immediate area is nice, it is very close to more rundown parts of Indy and the crime rate is relatively high. I’ve never had any issues here and the neighbors all seem to be extremely friendly, but it is something to note when choosing a place. Also, no issues with bugs in my building. You can’t control the heater so it’s a little warm in the winter (seems like they keep it at 70-75) but just crack a window. And there’s no AC so you’ll have to purchase your own unit. The laundry is hit or miss- expensive and doesn’t always work. The maintenance guy, Brian, is an absolute gem. He is so helpful, quick, and very kind and personable. I moved from out of state and he and another young man even helped me carry my mattress up to my place when I moved in. He’s simply the best. Jamie, the manager who moved me in back in August, was also sooo kind. I have not had much contact with the new manager, but she has been mostly helpful as well. When I lost my apartment key, she printed one for me immediately even though it isn’t her job. Most apartment managers and maintenance are awful, and I’m so glad to have the people here. It’s the little things that make a place feel like home!

Beware of what they legally do not have to share is infestation of cockroaches and bed bugs. Pictures are after the cleaning for move out. No thermostat to control the temperature, always 70 degrees. Drafty windows. Layer upon layer of paint drips.

I have just recently moved into Saxony Courts and it was the best decision i’ve made in a long time! Not only is it in a pretty cool area (walkability & things to do) but the apartments themselves are amazing. For how much you pay you get so much! This is my first time renting on my own & Ms.Turner (the property manager) was SO helpful. She explained every part of the process clearly for me and walked me through what the steps of renting an apartment would be. She did not disappoint either. The apartment was incredibly clean when I moved in and so far I haven’t had a single issue (no bugs, no water issue, no payment issues)! But as soon as I moved in Ms.Turner was again incredibly helpful. She made sure everything was going alright and every time I see her around the apartment complex she is so friendly and willing to help. The apartment complex is very quiet and full of kind people. I love this place!! I don’t know if I’ll ever want to leave!

I've lived at Saxony Courts for nearly two and a half years now, and have had nothing but a positive experience. The building is old, but sturdy, the renovated apartments are wonderful, and maintenance has been quick and efficient at any request I've ever had. The neighbors are diverse and all extremely kind, the location is amazing and very walkable, and I have had zero problems with management. They're actually very personable. I pay monthly for a carport, but there is plenty of free parking next to the building. No pest or rodent problems, no bed bugs, nothing that has ever made me want to move. I highly recommend Saxony Courts; my time here has been very enjoyable.

I lived here for 2 years. Saxony Court is a great price for being in the heart of Irvington, to the point of not being able to drive your car during the Halloween Festival. Their staff is always on top of things when placing work orders and responding to complaints. The biggest difficulty they have is moving in/out and parking.Due to the layout of the building, the parking situation is kept to the back of the building or on the street. And because there is no easy way to park close to entry doors, you will be forced to carry your belongings WAY farther than you'd like. It's a huge downfall, to the point I almost downgraded my score to a 3/5 just on that alone.

Not a terrible place to live. Well located and pretty well maintained.
