As a previous employee, let me tell everyone some fun facts. They hold work orders until the end of the month, sometimes the next month to make the numbers look good for corporate. So if you think your truck is done, rush (indianapolis) having a bad month, expect it the next month. Tech turnover rate is horrible because management ABOVE the shop is trash. Talk down to your techs, lie lie lie, treat them like trash, promise fake raises that don't show for 6+ months. Disgusting business practices. Let's not forget the parts markup of over 300% on some parts. Enjoy everyone.

I never post a bad review but all the 1 star reviews on Rush Trucking Indianapolis are correct. Rude Management with no returned calls from management as promised, no follow ups, questionable charges.
I purchased the truck I was driving from a Rush Trucking Miami (enroute from Florida to Chicago), while driving I knocked off my fuse cover on the passenger side. The cover hit the fuses and either damaged one or knocked one out and all the sensors on my truck went off. I brought my truck into Rush Trucking Indianapolis to see if the could help and tell me which fuse fell out or was broke. It was 10:30pm and they closed at 11pm. I was told my fuses were fine and that I would have to keep my truck there until the morning when the mechanics were back. I had an 8am delivery so that was not an option. I only wanted my fused checked for a missing fuse. The gentleman who tried to help me had issues printing paperwork out which I found out was an invoice for $190. No work completed, nothing done. I paid because it was 11pm and I needed to be in Chicago by 8am. I was thinking I could discuss the charges the next day with the management for a refund or reduction. I spoke with Mike who stated there is a sign inside by the service department stating a cost per hour which is fine if work is provided, I sat outside at a table and never went in until I had to pay. The guy that night was only trying to get me to keep my truck there until the morning. They charged me the time it took them to figure out how to use the computer to invoice me. The man stated he did not know how to work the computer as well. I told Mike I sat at a table outside and did not see the charge per hour sign. Laughably he said he would check the cameras to see if I went inside. Who uses that as an excuse.
When I left Rush at 11pm and stopped to refuel, I found the fuse on the floorboard and put it back where it had fallen out. Immediately fixing the issue and the truck was fine. I was going to bring my truck to Rush Trucking in Huntley, IL after my shipment was dropped but there was no need since I found the missing fuse and fixed the issue.
Mike was supposed to call me back with an update on a so called “camera check” but never did, I did call back but a call was never returned, with the way he spoke to me I am not surprised. Mike also told me the man who helped me was not a mechanic, then backtracked when I questioned this. So Rush Trucking on future repairs you may want to notify and talk to your customers first on charges up front instead of charging them and insane amount when nothing was worked on or repaired. And yes the $225 is a reasonable charge if a mechanic is actually performing manual labor and making repairs. I unfortunately got neither and still bent over. Rush Trucking Indianapolis is the definition of Highway Robbery. Take your vehicle anywhere else but this location. Terrible experience and I will not be purchasing any future vehicles from any Rush Trucking as I have in the past. This cost me $200, this cost Rush a business account.

First I'm an O/O so don't have a lot of time to kill when on the road. Started out looking for oil change and lube, started across the street at Boss. Big mistake!! Went to Rush after checking Speedco, (not fond of Baldwin filters I don't have good luck with them). I usually shy away from big dealers because they cater more to fleets and prices are steep. First shift, didn't get service girls name or manager's, but they treated me great. I'm kinda of a pain when it comes to my truck, they were extremely friendly, tolerant and understanding. Got there before second shift came on. First shift mechanics did a great job on PM and lube. Second shift took over and brought all the things they found to my attention, and I had them replace two brake chambers that had slight leaks and they pointed out a wheel seal that had started leaking (getting them to fix that Monday, took because of weekend time restraints and didn't want to get hotel). Second shift, Trey service manager, Steve (parts guru) and the mechanics were also awesome. Again extremely tolerant, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Everyone was getting hammered, extremely busy place and everyone was doing there best, they could use more people, but I can understand in todays world how difficult it is to hire people who are qualified and want to work. So now the important thing everything was done correctly and work was top notch, (even jacking up front axle to grease kingpins the proper way like I asked, 26 year old Pete) the time taken was reasonable (especially for the peace of mind knowing the work was thorough) and the bill was very reasonable and commensurate to the task assigned.
Will definitely return, if in area in future for anything needed. JMO but shops are kinda like doctor visits, one usually doesn't go to them because everything is going great. You're usually already not happy and know it's going to cost you money you don't have or want to spend, but if you try not to take your aggravation out on those that make their living trying to help you, it doesn't always end terribly and hurting. My hats off to the entire team at Rush International Indianapolis!!!
Follow up:
Returned on following Monday and again was treated well. Alec the service manager and Sam the service woman took care of getting everything needed and the mechanics took care of the wheel seal. Service continued to be great and the price reasonable and under quote. Again hats off to their team and will continue to return when in area and need work.

I was disappointed at first. Mike and Cory had gotten ahold of me! And went out of their way to make things right. My truck was giving a misfire on multiple cyclinders. This is a difficult fix cause it falls under a lot of different stuff. But they fingered it out. Most of all satisfied with how Mike and Cory treated me. I would recommend if you have truck trouble get ahold of theses guys they will treat you right.

Worst place to take your truck.. Unprofessional and major lack of communication.. They didn't program my fuel injectors causing me to breakdown again and was down for 9 days... I'm getting a lawyer and will be suing them for tow fees, hotel fees and lost income... Stay away form this location.. Frank Ferris will not do right by you... They don't answer email or phone calls...

Called in for a fuel line, mainly just the fittings. Service guy said they specialize in international trucks and that without a part number he couldn't help me. It's a "general " part and not truck specific so I was disappointed. When I started to ask if maybe he could just take a look either on the computer or in stock he said the warehouse wasn't organized.
I was let down and I assume this place is losing a good amount of business with that kind of effort. Nice guy but more could have been done. Lucky for me I ended up not needing any parts as my fittings just came loose.

Avoid this place by any means. I took my truck for a clutch change, which they said would take one week; it wasn’t done for three weeks. Finally, they were done, and it took them three days to test drive. When we went to pick up the truck, there was a lots of oil leak from where transmission engine connect. They tried to deny they caused the leak. Then they came up with more problems, they damaged transmission harness and speed sensor in the process; now my truck is out of service for month also they are charging me for parts and labour. Service advisors are clueless and has horrible customer service. Their technicians are questionable. I will not trust what they did to that truck, I will sell it right after I get it.
