Very trustworthy! Although it would be nice if they saw the vehicle on the say they could ( this time, said Monday but didn't get to it until Wednesday.) But that is the nature of the business...helpful and reasonable prices.

I literally just got my car towed there last night running and brand new battery starter etc. I get my car the next day and now it wouldn't even turn over as if my starter is bad .

I never leave negative reviews, I find them petty with a good explanation or misunderstanding; until now.We dropped off a new work van that had a burning smell. After a week we had eliminated stuck calipers, rubbing belts and air motor burn out. I finally found the culprit in that the previous owner had Way over filled the break fluid reservoir.All of this information was communicated to Ricks prior to dropping the working van off on a Friday. We told them we needed to pick the van up the Next Friday. One week.A week later, we left two messages, one on Thursday afternoon, and one at Friday 9:30 AM looking for status. No return call. At 11:20 Friday we decided to go pick up our van regardless of condition.We were told that they visually inspected the brakes, saw no cause for concern, but they still needed to drive the van to heat up the brakes to find the problem - One week after we dropped it off.Well, after a week I found the problem persists, the reservoir is still too high and the brake fluid smells "burnt" and was never touched. I really don't know what this experience was all about. However it will be a little while I will be back.

OUTSTANDING!!! Was in a pinch in town visiting family. Was to leave to go back to NC on Friday, car had been making an odd noise the day before. Desperately searched for a place to get it in the morning before leaving, NO luck till I remembered when I lived in Oaklandon 15 years ago, I had taken my vehicles to Ricks, so drove there to find still in business, and the following is a testimony to one reason why. Expressed my desperation to Marc, he immediately test drove the car then pulled it into the shop, wanting to at least try to identify the issue for me, this being around noon, soon determined it was the wheel bearings. He provided a written estimate, and said he could have it done that day, as long as no other issues were found during the work, thankfully there were not, and just after 4pm that day , he called and said the car was ready!!!! So I was able to make my drive back home the next day as planned. THANK YOU.. THANK YOU.THANK YOU.. to Ricks Service Center, Marc and his crew..Service: General repairs & maintenance

I bought my 2017 Nissan Rogue to Ricks Service Center back in June 2023. I was having a issue with my vehicle running hot while the vehicle was idling. My vehicle was towed to the shop and I followed behind in a Uber. I spoke with one of the owners short brunette hair and explained to him what I've been experiencing with my vehicle running hot while I filing or in park. I did let him know that my check engine light was on at the time and I wasn't for sure exactly what was wrong with it at the time I believe diagnostic testing should be done. My vehicle had been left at the shop for a week getting repairs done. I got a call the following Tuesday advising me the thermostat on the vehicle . was never told at t did not test it so I agreed to the work being done. That Friday I took a Uber to the shop and ask if the repairs were done and if my vehicle was ready for me to take home. The guy looked like he had been working on the vehicles he was the only person there. He printed off my paperwork I paid him he gave me my keys told me I was good to go. A few days of driving the vehicle and letting it run the vehicle started to overheat again. I called the repair shop and left several voicemails I never got a call back. I work a lot of hours so I don't have time to bring my vehicle to the shop during the week my Nissan is my primary source of transportation. I went in today since I was on vacation explained to them how I had been calling and leaving voicemails. The owner agreed he hadn't been answering the calls. I told him I was still having the same issue and didn't understand why when I paid for a diagnostic test. The owner said to me that the repair I needed didn't need tested it was more mechanical. I told him my check engine light was in at the time and we agreed to have it tested. I tried to explain that if it was tested as we agreed me having the same issues could've been avoided. The owner got mad start raising his voice stating I'm accusing him of not doing the work and called me a bitch!!!! He told me to get out of his shop and shut the hell up. I told him he was unprofessional and rude and customers shouldn't be treated like that when they spend their money. His brother who is part owner came to my car and I thought he was trying to diffuse the issue however he goes on to explain that he's not making excuses for his brother and he's going through something at this time lol! I explained that has nothing to do with me and he had no right to call me a bitch and treat me like that. I know this review was long but this was truly my experience today. I would highly recommend especially if you are a women to go somewhere else bcuz you will be disrespected disappointed and out of money!!! I have never been treated this way before and I would not recommend anyone else to do business at this location. The comments where extremely disturbing

They changed the timing set, turbos and gaskets.Also flushed the cooling system and changed the oil. Quick turnaround time for the amount of work that was needed.

I had my truck repaired. I was given detailed information and advised how to best invest in repairing the truck or to trade. They helped me make the best decision. The service was great and I got what I paid for to my satisfaction. Moreover, they were courteous in giving me a ride back home!

You cannot beat the customer service at Rick’s. I’ve newly moved to the area and needed an oil change and tire leak check. They were so nice, especially when I had to reschedule my initial appointment due to a family emergency. Everyone is super friendly, courteous and they don’t try to sell you services you don’t need. I will definitely be coming back to Rick’s for all my auto needs.Services: Oil change
