Disappointed with my service today. The work was not fully complete and took a long time with no communication regarding the delay. I called and requested a Service Manager to call me, but I guess I’m not important at all, as I have yet to receive a call. Why pay over $100 for an oil change and tire rotation when they don’t finish the job nor bother to address your concerns?

Went in for tune up which was good . I asked about my windshield washer tank was leaking. They said I needed the whole new windshield washer for about $550.00.I got another estimate and all I needed was to replace the windshield washer tank for about $85.00

I have always been a Ford owner but since the only car they make is the Mustang, I looked at several other manufacturers. I recently purchased a 2024 Mazda. The salesperson, Stephanie was easy to work with. She answered my many questions and I felt no pressure when I told her I would need to think on the purchase. When I came back, I asked her that my trade-in be re-evaluated for a larger amount. She didn't give me a song and dance about my request. Vince, sales mgr. did so without hesitation and did give me more on my trade in. Jordy and Peyton in finance, made the loan process smooth and easy. I would not hesitate to purchase from this Ray Skillman Team again.

Avoid Ray Skillman Mazda West Like the Plague
I bought a car from Ray Skillman Mazda West in February 2024, and just last week, on 8/12/2024, the oil light came on. I’m not the best at keeping up with car maintenance, but this car was practically brand new to me, so I called my local auto shop right away. The second the technician looked at it, he said it wasn’t an oil problem—it was a lifter issue with the engine. And get this: he said problems like this don’t just pop up overnight; they’ve been brewing for months, which means this was an issue long before I ever drove the car off the lot.
I went to multiple other technicians, and every single one of them confirmed the same thing. They also told me that Ray Skillman Mazda West had to have known about this problem before they sold me the car. When I called the dealership to address it, I got the runaround—redirected to wrong departments, passed from one person to the next. Finally, I spoke to my sales rep, who couldn’t have cared less. No empathy, no responsibility, nothing. They basically shrugged and said, “Not our problem,” all because I signed a “sold as is” paper.
If you’re thinking about buying from Ray Skillman Mazda West, do yourself a favor and don’t. They’ll sell you a car with serious issues and then wash their hands of it. I’d recommend steering clear of this place at all costs.

I'd rate this lower if it was possible, but here's a review of my experience at Ray Skillman Mazda West and the utter arrogance, deceit and carelessness displayed by Barry Morris, the Sales Manager, and Stephanie Caputo, Sales and Leasing Service.
On 10th August 2024, I, entered the premises of Ray Skillman Mazda West. Once there, I was interested in knowing an approximate price of a few vehicles and was consulting with one of their sales agents, Ms. Stephanie Caputo. I clearly told Ms. Caputo that I was not looking to purchase/lease a vehicle on 10th August repeatedly. I told her repeatedly that my timeline to lease a vehicle was more than 20 days at least, however I was only interested in inquiring about the vehicles there and wanted to know an estimate of the prices I would be paying.
Ms. Caputo insisted that I would need to provide my social security number and complete paperwork to even know estimated prices. When I was reluctant to provide these details, she insisted that this would only cause a soft inquiry and not a hard inquiry on my profile. I confirmed with her repeatedly, and she insisted that it would only be a soft inquiry. She also asked me to provide my social security details on a form, and I questioned her again if this was necessary or if I can provide them directly to the finance manager without adding them on paper, and she again insisted that I write my social security number there. Reluctantly, I provided my details after I was told yet again that this would only be a soft inquiry.
I was then introduced to the manager, Barry Morris who told me they ran a check and I got notifications on my phone, that a hard inquiry had taken place on my credit report. I was taken aback by this, and was informed rather callously that this was a hard inquiry. Ms. Caputo mentioned that she was new at the dealership and was not aware that this was going to be a hard inquiry and apologized multiple times. The manager, Mr. Morris however was nonchalant and refused to take any accountability.
I asked them to provide me with a letter to dispute this inquiry and they provided me with the letter on 12th August 2024, however this letter fails to mention Ms. Caputo’s error in providing the right information, and the clear lack of communication between Ms. Caputo and Mr. Morris. When I asked Mr. Morris about this, he said this is hearsay and I will not agree to what Ms. Caputo mentioned.
I would stay away from this unscrupulous business. They have no ethics and refuse to take accountability of their mistakes.

Stephanie at Ray Skillman took such good care of me every step of my car purchase! I was looking for a manual transmission Mazda and found a great one in practically new condition. Everyone there was super friendly, not pushy at all, they gave me a fair price for my trade in, and I really enjoyed chatting with Stephanie. I felt comfortable with her, she was knowledgeable and able to help with everything, and even gave me a ride to the bank :D I feel like she went above and beyond for me. I'd highly recommend her and Barry at this location!!

THIS LOCATION UTILIZES PREDATORY TACTICS AND OUTRIGHT LIES TO GET YOU THROUGH THE DOOR.
As an entrepreneur myself, I absolutely despise leaving a negative review of any establishment. Trust me when I say this is entirely warranted.
I would like to note that the salesman I interacted with was pleasant and well informed on current models and features.
The Sales “manager” confirmed that the hand written trade in promotional offer I had been mailed was simply to get potential customers through the door. This after offering me nearly HALF of the trade in value they’d mailed me.
If you value your time I’m sure there is an honest Mazda dealer within reasonable driving distance.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from the parts department. Not only was I given the wrong pricing, but the salesperson admitted that she knew she gave me the wrong pricing and never called to inform me of the problem.
To make matters worse, TJ, the parts manager, refused to offer any compensation for their error. As a result, my business is now facing an almost $300 loss due to their incompetence and lack of customer care.
I would caution others to be wary of relying on this department for accurate pricing and customer service.

I called and asked if a specific vehicle was in stock before I made the 45 minute drive to the dealership to look at a second car for my wife. I was told it was. It was indeed there when I arrived. I was told that they “work deals backwards” and they would run my credit prior to the test drive to see if I qualify before letting me drive. I’ve bought 16 cars in my life and never once have I been asked to do this. I drove to my appointment in my Porsche Macan that I bought from Tom Wood Porsche (along with my Porsche Cayman). Tom Wood never required me to run my credit to drive either of these vehicles that cost double what the Mazda I was trying to look at does. I have a 795 score and I didn’t get that by letting some salesman run my credit. I’ll take my $40k elsewhere.

We had a really good car buying experience at this place. JODRY and RORDRIGO was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Getting financing for first time buyers is never easy and JORDY Really did a good job as well with that. And we love our new Mazda CX-5 !!!
