Steve is the best! He is patient, creative, and a great educator! My first wedding set was damaged in an accident. After 34 years, we had been talking about adding an anniversary band anyway. It was fun to work with Steve to brainstorm and create something new and just mine and within budget. Lots of great ideas and options. He has software that helps visualize what you will get before it gets made. It's great to see it and make changes. I've got a new ring that is just outstanding!l

Steve did an amazing job helping me design my dream ring! He talked me through the pros and cons of different design ideas and helped me design the most beautiful ring my husband and I have ever seen. He was able to do everything I wanted and more for an unbeatable price!We had shopped around at a couple places and chose Steve because of his quick responses and level of care and service you just can't get with big chain retailers. Orofino Jewelers has been nothing but tremendous. They were a fantastic source of education and advice when designing our wedding & engagements rings, as well as my wife's necklace for the birth of our first child. Most recently, the team helped me find the perfect earrings for my wife's 40th birthday. They arrived on time and exactly as promised. First off Steve was extremely kind on the phone and even gave me his personal number to remain in contact with him. He worked with my schedule and had us in and out in no time. We came in to get my Engagement ring sized and we were expecting to pay full pride plus and wonderful tip for his amazing service…..but to our surprise he didn’t even charge us a penny and when we proceeded to offer a tip he refused say only “it’s my good deed of the day”! Shout out to Steve at Orofino for his amazing work with my jewelry and his amazing work as a human! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

My friend Megan and I came to have my rings sized and ended up leaving with her ring and all three of my rings sized in just a few hours. Steve created us a beautiful custom engagement ring after we had shopped at numerous stores and could not find anything that we wanted. His customer service was outstanding. We walked in and immediately felt like old friends. After a bit of discussion about how he runs his business and ourselves, we described the ring we wanted to Steve and pulled out the Cubic Zirconia imitation of it that we had been testing out. Steve looked at the ring and said it would be a piece of cake to replicate. We were only in town for a few days around the holidays and Steve went above and beyond for us. After our initial walk-in, he got in touch with his contacts to try and find us the perfect diamond. A couple days later, he had 3 options for us in store to look at. We rushed in and found the perfect center stone. Steve measured everything out perfectly and made a replica of the ring we wanted scaled up to fit the stone we had picked out. We left Steve with the task on 12/4 and he had the ring perfected for us on 12/21 - what a great Christmas gift! Upon picking up the ring, we were both astounded at just how gorgeous it truly is. To this day, we still are in awe of the beauty and great work that Steve did on this piece. We have recommended him multiple times to friends and family already and will most definitely be back for our wedding bands later this year and any jewelry needs in the future.Additionally, I know that I touched on Steve's great customer service at the beginning of the review, but I would like to re-iterate that out of all of the jewelers we met with, Steve by far had the best customer service. He was constantly in contact with us throughout the process, consistently kind and professional, and overall an absolute pleasure to work with.

Steve has been my jeweler for the past 10 years. After working with Orofino Jewelers once, I haven’t had any reason to go anywhere else. Our first project together was designing an engagement ring for my wife. I was thrilled with the outcome (so was my wife!), and I have worked with Steve many times over the years as kids have been born and anniversaries have approached. Steve provides an unmatched level of service. For example, Steve delivered a pair of earrings to us in the hospital after the birth of my first child. During the COVID-19 lock-down, Steve dug deep into his network to find a casting house that was still operating to complete a custom diamond pendant we had designed together as an anniversary gift. He received the casting in the mail on our anniversary, set the stones, and delivered it to my mailbox before the end of the day. I don’t know another jeweler that bends over backwards to deliver for their clients. I have referred friends, family, even relative strangers to Steve over the years. When I tell them why they want to work with Orofino Jewelers, I use a Boy Scout Popcorn vs Girl Scout Cookies analogy. With Boy Scout popcorn, most people feel they overpay and don’t really want what they’re getting. That’s the big box jewelry stores. With Girl Scout Cookies, most people look forward to buying cookies because they are a fair price and a quality product. This is what you get working with Steve. Took my ring to get sized and also have the diamond reset. The work done on my ring is just beyond reproach. Work is done right in store which is really important to me. I will definitely return to Orofino for all of my jewelry needs. My ring looks absolutely beautiful, thank you so much!

These guys are incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly generous. I took my old Swiss Army watch in to have a band replaced. Turned out the band I bought on Amazon was the wrong width, with the wrong sized pins. They kindly trimmed down the band and found pins that would work. When I asked what the charge was, they wouldn't let me pay and just asked me to pay the favor forward. So: can't recommend Orofino enough for any jewelry work you need done in the future.
