Old National Centre is a historic and architecturally beautiful venue that hosts concerts, comedy shows, and private events. The building is lovely and well-maintained. However, the seating layout in rooms like the Egyptian Room presents a serious sightline problem, as the seats are all on the same level without stacked theater seating, making views difficult. The individual chairs are placed very close together, which can be uncomfortable in a sold-out show. While the box seats look nice, general seating can feel cramped. Staff members are generally friendly, knowledgeable, and handle details well, including proper ADA screening for service animals. The sound quality during performances is really good. Getting there early is advised, especially for handicap seating. The main entrance can be confusing, as the street-side door is often reserved for VIPs, requiring others to walk a long way around from the parking lot in poor weather. Concessions are considered very pricey, with simple items like popcorn costing significantly more than expected. Alcoholic drinks are also pricey but noted as strong. Parking is not overly expensive. Despite some frustrations with seating, sightlines, and costs, the venue offers an overall good experience for seeing outstanding performances in a historic setting.
Fantastic venue! The opera room is gorgeous! Such a cool old building, I'm so glad it's still being used. I wish I could see the mysterious train room in the attic...

Really beautiful architecturally. We saw bands in one of the downstairs rooms. Sound was really good. Could see from most vantage points. Get there early for handicap seating. We didn't and I'm hurting from standing the whole time.

Seats will paralyze you and the layout will make you get very familiar with those around you since you’ll practically be in their arms or lap when navigating or waiting in lines, of which there will be plenty.
