I recently had to put one of my puppies down on account of she got very sick very fast they made the entire process more bearable for my puppy and I I'm not ashamed to say that it broke my heart and it hit me very hard all the people there were very kind and understanding and they sent me a condolence card with all their names on it I can't recommend them enough I will recommend them to my friends and family and to anyone who loves their pets

Doctor and Technician where both extremely nice and patient. Got my pups ear diagnosed on site and where able to get medication that day which I didn't expect based on past experiences at a different clinic. Nice to also know this office has blood testing and x-rays on site that is available if needed.

I have never made an appointment with Oaklandon Family Vet , and not kept it. They might have made an appointment for me without my permission and wanted me to come in and bring Bullet poop and I didn't go, three time! Am in a wheelchair how can they know when I have a doctors appointments. I make my own appointments and have always kept them. Since the Owner retired, I don't like going there. Dr. R. Saved my female dog life. I have never fail to pay a veterinarian. . They want me to give a credit card and if I don't show, they will charge me. I talk with another person and they never asked her for a credit card.Pastor Venus Stafford-retired

Outstanding vet care is the norm at this facility. Dr Taylor, Cassi and the entire staff care deeply about my dogs when I bring them in for treatment. I'm so glad I found this vet hospital for my 2 dogs!

The appt. was great! Dr. Ash was very attentive to Mac and listened to my concerns. She was thorough and explained. The call to make the appt. was not good at all. Jessica was rude and condescending. She was argumentative and felt the need to make her point by repeating comments up to 5 times. I did let Dr. Ash know and she was apologetic and said she would follow up.

Marnie would normally feel anxious and a little scared to be away from home, but because she was handled with compassion and gentleness during her exam, she felt safe and did really well even when receiving 3 needle sticks.Thank you, Dr Taylor and StaffMarnie's Mom & Dad ?❤️

They've taken fantastic care of our dogs since we started there in 2010, from when we first acquired our dogs through to their end of life. Honest and caring advice and support are what you can expect from them.

Edit to add after OFV response: Dr. Ash told me you tried once and when he needed surgery she opted out and choose euthanasia instead because your staff is unqualified to preform an urinary blockage surgery. Don't lie to people on your reviews. It's unethical and pathetic. She knew when she took him in he had a possible blockage. She took that cat knowing she isn't knowledgeable enough to fix him. He deserved better than your care and I'm truly sorry I put my faith in you all.I found an injured stray cat and brought it to this vet as my regular was closed. He didn't have a chip so i decided to get him treated there for the injury on his side. While there, he peed in the room and it contained blood. Dr. Ash told me that it would be expensive to treat these injuries because they couldn't be sure of the full extent. She pressured me into surrending him to her so she could treat him. She promised that she would keep me updated so I surrendered him and left. I called the facilty three different times in the next week and on the third time was told they could not give me information due to him being a surrender. I would have never surrendered him if I had known that was the case. I was told a hospital administrator would call me. That never happened. I decided to go there in person since I couldn't seem to get a call back. I was able to talk to Dr. Ash and she told me they had put him down due to a blockage and they didn't want to spend money on a stray cat. I'm so completely upset. If I would have known, I would have tried to raise the money for his surgery. When I told Dr. Ash this, she told me that if I had cared, I wouldn't have surrendered him in the first place. I thought what I was doing was the right thing and this practice let me, and that stray cat down. Completely horrible practice that doesn't deserve to be in business. They had me sign a document under false pretenses. Dr. Ash is a joke.
