I previously left a five star review for Northpointe. However, the people who made Northpointe great have left, and now the service is terrible. I have referred my clients to them for years, but I was so disappointed by my last transaction with Northpointe that I will never work with them again.

Elisa Couch and Loryn knocked it out of the park!! They rescued the Buyer's of my listing when the other lender pulled out a day before closing...I called Elisa and she had it closed 12 days later...unbelievable!

I have refinanced twice with Northpointe after my current companies offered me less than favorable numbers. Quick to respond, all communication via email, which is my preference. Direct with information. No pressure. I'm sure I will use them again in the future!

Raised my payment from $240 to $902 without warning and is trying to get me to give up my home unsteady if working out payment arrangements. The website is terrible and difficult to make payments. You have to call in a d talk to people who don't understand your account and provide no help at all.

This is a great bank for mortgage! I worked with Dallas Williams. Dallas exceeded all my expectations. I closed on a new home fast after another home did not work out!

Worst bank ever, do not bank here!This is the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with a bank. I am now in the second home that I have owned so I understand how mortgages and banks function. We took out a HELOC with Northpointe because they manage our mortgage, so it should be simple right? WRONG! The process was far more involved than the original loan on our quarter million dollar house, even after we proved to them that we had more than enough to cover the amount we were asking to borrow in our IRA's it was still like jumping through hoops. The bank has a horrible website! In 2021 with Northpointe you still can't do online banking functions with them. I have to physically call every month to make a principal payment on my HELOC, its as if they don't want me to pay it off. You talk to one person in payments dept and they have no idea why you set your account the way you did, and then you explain that the mortgage lending department told you to set the account up the way you did to get a reduced rate, for which the lending agent lied about. Moral of the story, use a different bank.

Wonderful mortgage experience with Mr. Slater and his team. Mr. Slater was always available and very prompt with responses and updates. I highly recommend using Northpointe bank.
