North American Van Lines was awesome! They moved us from one state to another (2.5 hours away). They showed up on time, loaded our belongings quickly and without incident, they were professional. friendly and easy to be around. As quoted, our belongings were delivered the very next day and off-loaded just as quickly as they were loaded. I, without a doubt, would hire them again.

My wife and I shared a superb experience with University Movers/North American Van Lines in Whitestown IN. From the initial sales call with Donna to coordinating with Julie at the University Movers office to loading/transport/unloading with Angelo our driver could not have been any more professional or smoother. Donna provided checklists and recommended getting quotes from other residential mover competitors and was a straight shooter with what to look for in a residential mover. Julie helped us to organize and understand what our obligations/expectations were for packing and being ready for moving day. Julie also provided free boxes and packing material when available (which was each time we needed something). Angelo had the personality and experience to efficiently organize his loading and unloading crews and far exceeded our expectations, and of course his punctuality on both ends of the trip. To sum it up, we had a great experience with great people and representatives for University Movers/North American Van Lines and would highly recommend them!

Sean and Dena treated our things like they were theirs! They packed everything so well. - no dents, scratches , only one cracked picture out of our whole house.They were professional and so accommodating to our schedule.I would highly recommend them!

Our experience overall was very good. All our things (we packed ourselves) arrived intact and everyone we worked with were great people. No complaints about the people, all positive comments there.
They ended up having to load us a day earlier than originally planned, which made for a mad scramble to compress a packed weekend that involved high school graduation with family visits. Our last packing day ended up becoming loading day.
But we got through it and I wouldn’t complain about the experience overall.

Donna and Roberto are special! They really helped me out in a pinch and were top notch! Donna answered right away and had a mover within minutes. Roberto and his team handled my items with care and were in constant communication with me. All around very pleased with my move and would only recommend them to others.

Donna and Julie were fantastic with communication and were easy to work with on an unexpected one-week delay! Driver Rick was a rock star!! I don’t have my final accounting to determine how close the visual inspection to expected weight was but service was fantastic and so far, we’ve not found anything broken or missing!

I would not use NAVL again for a move. The pick up was fine and communication decent with informing of delays; however, the delivery was days late and there was damage to items and property. The claims process with NAVL is a joke. They will stretch out the process and deny claims even if you provide evidence and documentation. For example, the delivery crew damaged a wall in our house with a dresser. The delivery crew was extremely nice in pointing out the damage and lettings us know to file a claim. The delivery driver even offered to pay out of pocket to avoid a drawn out claims process. We decided to go ahead and file a claim since a few other items were damaged during the move. The claim for the wall was denied due to "insufficient evidence to confirm damage", even with the driver informing the company of fault and text message exchanges from the time of drop off confirming the damage. The driver even stated that the denied claim was a mistake and that they should accept responsibility. I refiled the claim twice, no response. No one has time to continuously call the claims office and re-file claims for damage that are already clear as day. Luckily the driver was nice enough to pay out of pocket to get the damage fixed. I would HIGHLY avoid moving with North American Van Lines.

Where do I begin? The truck was more than half a day late on both ends of the trip. The driver was rude. Stuff that was supposed to go to storage ended up at the house and vice versa. It was really a nightmare. I would never use North American Van Lines again.

Great team to work with and we’re very transparent along the way. Quality service from the estimate to the driver! We moved across state lines and they made the entire process easy to understand and were in communication constantly. Would recommend for any family looking to use a moving team!
