Rented me an unregistered Luxury vehicle where the heat doesn't even work. Can't control any sort of heat and it makes driving a hazard. They told me I would have to go without a car, was their solution. No refunds or anything offered. Car sat 2 of the days I had it. Don't use National, which is also enterprise.

We had an awesome experience in customer service, made possible by the Birmingham airport, assistant manager named Nick. My wife and I returned our vehicle with only a few questions about our billing. Nick addressed our questions in a kind and prompt manner and genuine care and concern for our situation. It's people like him that will make me loyal to National for any of my future needs.

The car and service were great but the interior had a terrible spell that stayed in the car our entire week. It seemed like a masking odor to cover precious smoke smell. Note to managers that smell is worse than smoke. Don’t use it and replace the car from your fleet. We need to be better at noting the interior smell before we take the car….but should we have to do that? Please address this issue.

There were helpful attendants when I picked up the car. The car ran perfectly for my 5 hour trip. When I returned the vehicle I was greeted by two very friendly attendants that told me they would take care of the empty water bottles and wrappers in the car and even got my suitcase out of the trunk for me. It was a great rental car experience at Indiannapolis airport and I will definitely use them again.

I recently arrived at the Indy airport but unfortunately no cars were available. The line was long and a lot of frustrated travelers.Non-The-less the staff hustled to turn the cars around and make them available as soon as they arrived. They were kind and courteous throughout the entire process. Great staff and they should be commended. Though my travels were delayed by 1-1/2 hours, the staff worked their butts off to minimize this.

There employees were great! Smiling, making me laugh, and generally uplifting. The vehicle had over 58,000 miles on it and the transmission was beginning to slip. I was concerned if being stranded and losing out in a day of my trip. Luckily that didn't happen, but I'd rather not worry about that in the future!

National provides an incredibly easy and seemless rental process. Our airport rental took less than 10 minutes before we were driving away. We had no issues with the vehicle and the rates were fair. Would definitely recommend them!

Just rented a car from here this past week. I'm pretty disappointed with them not finding my back cushion/pillow that I accidentally left in the car. I dropped the car off on Thursday around 6 pm. I realized at 8:30 that I forgot my pillow. I tried calling them, but of course you can't get a live person on the phone. So the next morning I went back. They "looked" and said they couldn't find it. When I asked if I could check to see if it was in the car, they said it was rented an hour after I dropped it off. First of all, it's not like it was hidden in the glove box or in the back seat, it was in the driver's seat. So I find it pretty hard to believe they didn't notice it as soon as someone got in to move the car. Pretty frustrating as the pillow wasn't cheap.

Very easy to pickup and drop off the cars. Service is awesome and ground staffs are very polite and friendly. They get me best rate compares to competitors..

In a world where seemingly every customer experience is a disappointment, National still delivers each and every time. I rent exclusively from National Car Rental due to the convenience and quality of inventory. So does everyone else, so when it's peak time you might wait a minute or two for a vehicle but it's worth it !Go National ! ... Like Puddy :)

The people are nice and helpful but cars are limited.Best time are between 4pm-7pm. After that it's a wild card. Sometimes you get choices Sometimes you dont.Especially after 10pm. You get a pick of 3 cars. Unless there's a lot of flight cancelation. That's an exception.

The Toyota navigation system was entirely new to me, but could not be ignored. It took control of my iPhone for the duration rental period. There was zero documentation or quick start guide available to turn this system off or use it productively. I am not an iPhone or computer novice but this system was too intrusive and non-intuitive. I hated it and hence hated an otherwise reasonable rental. Never Toyota again.

I rent a decent number of vehicles during the year and National is my go to. Emerald Executive certainly makes things easier. My only issue is the inconsistency with the types of vehicles. Rented from Indy Airport and had an Audi then 2 weeks later ended up in a basic Dodge Charger. Pretty significant difference between the two.

I’d usually give any National 5 stars. Pick up was easy. However, the selection in the executive aisle is not great. There are low trim cars there, it doesn’t seem much different than the cars in the regular emerald aisle. Return, which was mostly smooth, was very much disturbed by an unruly worker who was extremely loud and yelling rudely at cars to pull into specific lanes. Perhaps signage would be preferable to this uncivilized method. No other issues.

First time renting a car in ages and it was so simple it was hard. no actual people at the counter. It was hard to know which car to take they said take any car but I got a standard reservation, I guess they were overloaded with SUV types. I was used to them trying to sell you insurance you don't need and inspecting the car and assigning you a specific one. So just grab and go with a reservation. Trunk was open I guess to assure you no one was hiding in there? Easy.
