Called in about getting my cracked radiator fixed and mike had me come in to the shop to show me everything, in person, that’s wrong with my vehicle. He showed me what I needed fixed to get my car safely back on the road. He was open about prices and procedures and kind the whole time! Really appreciate it! I got my radiator fixed as well as a crack in my gas tank!

Took a car I bought up there, they told me it was this and that, spent $3000 to have them fix it, get it back with them saying it needed an exhaust plenum, abotger 1500, took it to another shop, cracked head, that wasnt the problem before. Can't prove they did it, but at the very least, they wasted my time and money.

Very happy that I found Mr. Radiator on S. Meridian St through a friend's recommendation. They have been in business a long, long time, still in an older building which keeps costs down. You feel like you are dealing with a family business that cares. They are very mindful of helping if you are on a tight budget and want to keep costs down. They will tell you if there is a work around, or if you shouldn't try a work around. They work an almost everything on a car. I had an exhaust problem and a brake problem. Dave also checked a few other things to see if I wanted anything done. I am not easily impressed, but I am very impressed with them. Will be taking my car there from now on.

These people are amazing! I have used their services several times and have always been more than satisfied. Rhonda always works hard to fit me in when I need them. And she is always professional, yet extremely personable. Dave is an exception mechanic who does exceptional work. I am a widowed senior female who knows nothing about cars, and I know I have never been taken advantage of when they have repaired my car. Their prices are very reasonable and their work guaranteed. I wouldn't even think of taking my car anywhere else. I have recommended them to several others .

My car had showed signs of exhaust leak (noise) plus heating not up to par. I had my car viewed at another location, let's just say I was in sticker shock for starters!!Called spoke with lovely girl on phone, told me bring my car in now, 10 am already, so I dropped off. TOTALLY in AWE of this turn of events my car, Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable , my car "fixed" returned by 3:15 same DAY, TODAY , Unbelieveable!!!Sounds beautiful again, TOTAL heat, all under almost ONE FOURTH cost at my first estimate!!!! YES definitely, GREAT, HONEST, Auto Repair Shops with much respect & compassion for their customers. In this day of OVER Inflation, at every turn it's sure Welcome find a Home Base repair Shop!!KUDOS MR.Radiator!!! Charged me almost 2x the All Data rate and time. Then it was back to the shop 4 times over the next 2 weeks because they failed to fix things properly. Very overpriced for the quality of work performed.

I've sent dozens of friends to Dave (whose wife runs the front of house), and I would do so again. He will take the time to run through exactly what is wrong with you, is very fair and competitive with pricing, and keeps up to date with service bulletins. If you have any sort of heating/cooling issue, this is your guy. If you need general work, this is the guy for you. If you need your transmission serviced, the guy in the same building (Gary), can handle your car, too! I've had my alternator replaced here, my serpentine belt, a few tensioners, and other random work. He found a leaky steering rack months before I needed it serviced. Give this place your money.

I have a 2008 Saturn which I use for a work car. It had 111,000 miles on it when the front end began rusting out. Took it to a body shop and they said it couldn't be fixed. Mr Radiator said he could weld it, gave me a decent estimate. Came back to pick it up and he charged me about half that. Said when he got into it that it wasn't as much work as he was expecting. That was over 100 000 miles ago. I don't even consider taking any of our vehicles anywhere else

IF YOU’RE FROM OUT OF TOWN DON’T GO HERE. I was in Indianapolis for a concert, my water pump broke I went to Mr Radiator the next morning to see if I can fix it asap and get on the road. My car was overheating so bad that it stalled out trying to get to him. After I got there he looked in the car and said it’s your Radiator and it was going to cost about 1100. to fix and the earliest he can do it was the next day. I was for certain it was the water pump because of where the water was exiting but he was trying to convince me it was a cracked radiator. I was coming from Kentucky and I stressed that to him that I wouldn’t be able to afford another nights stay and a radiator. He still insisted it was the radiator. After having my club brother come pick me up and look at the car he decided we tow it to someone else. We took it to a friend of his and he put it on a lift diagnosed it and found out it was the water pump. This shop takes full advantage of when a person is in a trouble, he knew I had no one back home and I was to far away from home to get a second opinion. Instead of being a true mechanic and helping someone he did the mom and pop shop thing and tried to convince someone it’s another issue to fix something that’s not broken. He over prices everything to make a quicker dollar.Service: Auto maintenance

Dave and his staff are always happy to help! I recommend them to anyone especially if you have a problem you can't solve. Dave is definitely guru when it comes to cars. Plus he always uses new parts and does a thorough job. Always makes you feel at ease as well.

Unfortunately I had to get a major job done. A new engine. Dave, the owner was amazing through the whole process. He called me each day with updates. He called me with any issues along the way. He was able to finish the job a full day early. Very reasonably priced and professionalism at its best.

In my search for an honest, dependable mechanic for my '95 Olds, my '95 Sonoma GMC, my '98 Buick Park avenue, I was fortunate enough to encounter *********************, his wife ******(office manager). For the last 10 years, they have managed to affordably keep all 3 of my old cars running like new! From the radiator,air conditioning, the entire engine down to the trunk latch, my vehicles are kept in tip-top shape because of their excellent service! I highly recommend them to anyone in need of the best mechanic in Indiana! Friends that I've sent their all say the same thing of their above & beyond better than great service!

Called around to several places to get my radiator replaced, not only was Mr. Radiator the most reasonably priced, but the repair was very fast as well. I had several issues on my end & everyone I spoke to was very patient, respectful, and worked with me to help me out. I wish I’d known about this place sooner, I will be returning for any future car problems!
