I had to drag myself in today for a blood draw .Needless to say I was a wreck. But the tech was an angel, her name was Peaceful, and was a floater for the lab. She was great at her job ! Was the best lab draw I`ve ever had.

Staff member performing the blood draw raised her voice with me when she discovered my physician made duplicate orders for tests.

As far as testing, this location is fine but a woman who works here is incredibly rude. A man in a fully automatic wheelchair with a service dog was waiting, the gal came out and yelled at him to put his mask over his nose. He obliged immediately. She then came out and yelled again to move his chair to get out of the way so people could "get past him". He WAS NOT in the way. He was slow to respond, imagine it's hard to maneuver with the dog and she yelled again to get out of the way. He did, eventually without argument. She then yelled to move his dog, who also was not in the way. Patience was necessary in this situation to which she had none. It was abusive and unnecessary. He obviously is doing the best he can. Be kind, always.

Friendly and professional.... ButAll I can say now is......OUCH!Arm still hurts three days later. I've NEVER bruised like this from an IV, let alone blood draw.**Update** still sore & bruised 5 days later. Not sure if the person helping me is new or just didn't have a gentle touch.Even the military was more gentle.

I believe her name was Carol. Very through and polite while doing her job. We carried on a conversation during my visit, and learned we have lots in common. Thank you Carol for being there. Great job@

I had to go here for some bloodwork and it will be the place I go if I ever need bloodwork again it's a very convenient location on the community north hospital campus everyone is still following covid Protocols. You can check yourself in and they get you right in and just ask for your id and health insurance card, after that they complete and process your blood and then send you on your way I also got my results within one business time the technician there was very friendly and eased my worries about bloodwork because I am not a fan of needles at all. I hope this isn't a regular occurrence but if I ever need bloodwork again this is the place I would go

Recent changes take this lab from 4 stars to 1!We made an appointment for our 4yo autistic son to have blood drawn to complete tests ordered by a Community Health DO whom we had visited a week prior. These orders were in the Community Health system and were available to Mid America Labs. Our appointment for for approx 10am on Saturday, February 27th. When we arrived my wife went into the main area and checked in at a digital kiosk as there was no one present to speak to. We waited approx. 45 minutes at which point we received a text that they were ready. We took our son, already impatient at this point, to the blood draw area where we were packed into an already crowded room with another couple for a total of SEVEN PEOPLE including blood technicians in a single small room that was approx. 6' X 12'... hardly acceptable social distancing protocols during a Pandemic. Once we were in the room, our technician was confused by the orders and asked the second technician for help. We waited for approx 10 minutes while each technician seemed to be confused as to what to do with each of their patients and nothing was said to us during that point. All the while, our 4yo son did not understand what was happening and was very impatient as we had already made him wait for around an hour total. It was at this point that I told our technician that we were not going to proceed. She reiterated that she didn't know what to do. We expressed our extreme dissatisfaction and left. Here are our complaints:1) There was NO WAY to speak to a person ahead of time so we could communicate that we had a 4yo with autism and allow the technicians to make arrangements ahead of time.2) There was confusion with regard to the wait time. We initially made an appointment so we would not have to wait long. When we checked in, our wait time on the screen went from 6 minutes to approx 45 minutes which was confusing.3) The lab technicians did not appear to know what they were doing. This was communicated to us directly. We observed two technicians for approx 10 minutes in the same room with our son and another and NOTHING was done.4) The lab technicians were clearly overwhelmed. There waiting area was full of people waiting, as was the main lobby area.5) The room where the blood draws were being taken WAS NOT Covid safe. There was a total of seven people cramped into that room and social distancing was NOT being practiced. Absolutely unacceptable protocol!I have been to this particular location and other Mid-America Labs many times over the years for blood work and this was BY FAR the worst experience I have ever had. It is unacceptable that we were unable to speak to a person before hand and that the lab technicians were not able to know exactly what needed to be done before the patient was called back. Prior to the Pandemic, we could speak to someone and they DID know what to do. Something has clearly changed since then and I can tell you that WE WILL NOT be having any more lab work done with Mid America until we have assurances that these issues have been addressed.

Kylie was amazing! I hadn't had blood/plasma drawn in a while so I had a little anxiety and she made me feel so comfortable! She was knowledgeable about health insurance (although I've carried my own for at least a year, I've never used it and am clueless to how it even works). If I ever have to return, I want her, no questions asked. Thank you girl!

This was several months ago and usually do not post negative comments but gotta admit this was not a very friendly location. I am by nature a friendly person, but these people were not very friendly in return. I had an appt and still waited 90 minutes beyond that , which isnt horrible but then they had a attitude with me and acted like they werent planning on drawing my blood because my order was in my email not paper form. I pretty much had to force the issue since I had already paid for the labs. I wont go back to this location again just saying. Someone might want to explain to them that if they dont like people maybe dont get into health care

They changed their hours without posting it to this website. They now close at 4:00. So I made a completely wasted trip today and it's very difficult for me to get there.

Oops, this was my experience at the Noblesville location. Horrible! 12-15 people crammed into a tiny little office. There was barely room to stand. The receptionist was extremely rude when I asked how long the wait would be.

If this is the lab within Community North on the first floor......... This was the first time visiting this location. DeAnn was AWESOME. I am a fainter and my veins are deep and roll. I told her this and she made me feel comfortable and took me to the reclining chair. She talked to me the whole time to keep me focused and then afterward she brought me a cool cloth for my head and orange juice. I did get woozy but I always do. She took GREAT care of me! I will return to get blood draws here in the future. Wonderful care!
