Dr. Peter Maiers and his staff did a fantastic job with my labral repair on both hips. Since the surgery I have been dealing with my insurance and the forte billing office. Which has been nothing short of a nightmare. Due to neglecting to get a prior authorization correctly. I am fighting with everything I have to get insurance to pay. The surgery was needed unfortunately, the stress of these outstanding medical bills might be worse on me. Check with your insurance prior to surgery with Forte to make sure everything has been submitted correctly.

Had two appointments with 2 different doctors at Forte today. First appointment I was early for and I had to wait 40 minutes past my original appointment time before I was seen. Second appointment I was also on time for as I hadn't left the campus and they again made me wait well past my initial appointment time. The patient's time is not valued here FYI. When you do finally get in, the doctors really do care. Just make sure you have lots of wiggle room on your calendar for inevitable delays.

Outstanding care! I had an issue no one could figure out, Forte did quickly. Their PT is also amazing and identified solutions quickly! I can’t say enough good things about the care and my experience there! 5⭐️!

Worst 1 star experience in a medical facility ever!!!!. I was referred and taken to the walk in clinic by a friend who had been a patient twice and is an educated Register Nurse with 30 plus years..
The clinic was closing in an hour when we arrived so after checking in we waited about 45 minutes with about 5 people coming / going after us. We asked was there an issue and she said she couldn't check me in officially until insurance was verified.
I told her I would be responsible if the insurance didn't pay and have paid my bill with them in the past no issues.
I expressed again how much pain I was in and needed to be seen.
Again I was denied medical attention until insurance could be verified.
If you chose to go to this place REMEMBER their number one priority is MONEY not PATIENT CARE! Oh by way, yes my Blue Cross and Blue Shield was effective and in good standing.

Loved Dr. Rettig and his nursing staff. He did an excellent job for me and the nursing staff and OT were also top notch. The BILLING DEPARTMENT is an unmitigated DISASTER. They overbilled me which I paid, but cannot get a refund. Everytime I call I get the same answer "we're looking into it." I have complained for over a year! The billing department hides behind a phone tree and the explanation that the matter has been forwarded for further investigation. Good thing that I had a good result--this sort of treatment makes unhappy people want to sue...update. The office called and said a refund is on the way. They said they take reviews seriously and looked into the situation and solved my problem.
There is a link on their website for”contact us” and a drop down menu which includes “billing “. But “billing” sends you to marketing who DOES have an interest in solving your problem unlike “billing billing”. If I had only known…

Regarding the Greenwood location... I loved this place when it was Methodist sports medicine.. since they've merged/changed and become Forte... It's become so poorly organized and it's caused me (and some of the staff) a great deal of additional stress... I've been a patient for 8 years and for the first time ever I'm considering looking elsewhere...

I had an appointment that required me to drive for 45 minutes, but unfortunately, due to a crash on the way, I got delayed by 10-15 minutes. When I arrived, I was turned away because they couldn't accommodate me for my delay. I understand the importance of being on time, but I believe a 10-15 minute delay is not significant enough to turn someone away. I hope they can reconsider their policy and show some flexibility in such situations.

I TOTALLY recommend Forte for any orthopedic needs you have. I suffered with chronic pain due to an injury I had sustained in 1996! I just lived with the pain because I didn’t want to have surgery on my back. Recently had an episode where the pain literally took my breath away. I hadn’t felt that level of pain since the accident. I chose Forte from a list of providers on my healthcare insurance’s website.
First, the location in Carmel is convenient for me come from east Noblesville.
Second, very impressive looking facility.
Third, quick check in. Very organized to meet the various needs of the patient.
Forth, so efficient. I had an X-ray first then met with my PA Heather. She listened to me. Reviewed the X- ray with me and referred me to a pain management specialist.
Fifth the treatment plan is customized to my needs.
Really can’t say enough about how phenomenal they are!

Wonderful Dr's and caring staff, PT staff was super, beautiful facility. Mark & Tom were amazing to work with. I hope I don't have to see them again, but if something breaks, I will drive the 2+ hours again for their knowledge & care. If they can't fix you, you might not be fixable.?Don't forget to eat at the food court!!
