My experience at Meijer was average overall. While the store had a decent selection of products, there was nothing particularly outstanding that set it apart from other similar retailers. The layout was functional, and the staff seemed helpful enough, but there was nothing extraordinary about the shopping experience. Overall, Meijer provided a standard retail experience without any remarkable highlights.

Possibly the most UNhelpful pharmacy staff I’ve ever encountered. They are slow and inattentive. Rude and cold. Essential prescriptions takes dayyssss to fill. They do NOT offer automatic refills. An issue with insurance? It’s on you to handle. “Let us know how it works out.” Prescription paid for by state insurance? You won’t get mPerks points for it! I went to the Walgreens up the street and when the insurance wouldn’t cover my son’s prescription that sweet lady called them up to figure it out. I am in the process of transferring ALL of my prescriptions from here, even those that earn me mPerks points. Speaking of mPerks: they are a joke. The store is insanely overpriced and their sales are a joke. I HATE this store and only go here so often because it’s closest to my home, but more than once I have spotted asset protection following me around. What an INSULT considering I’m spending $1k plus of my hard earned money here (not food stamps or government aid but money that cost me hours of my life to earn!).They FREQUENTLY advertise sale prices that are invalid and they refuse to honor the advertised price once you get to the register. Working shipt? They want you to walk all the way down to the end of the store to bag, as if you aren’t on a time limit. Their offering of organic fruits is limited and ridiculously priced. There are FOUR grocery stores on E Washington street. Take your pick but avoid this overpriced store and definitely avoid this joke of a pharmacy.

Store was clean and stocked. Hard to rate something that's ment to serve the average person higher on the ratings because it's nothing out of the ordinary. Which sometimes is what is wanted.

Meijer's grocery online ordering/pick up service is the worst, especially compared to other comparable stores. They frequently charge you for items that they don't actually give you, and when that happens they don't credit you your money immediately. They say they will put you on a list and the manager will credit you when he/she finds time, so basically you have to trust that the person is going to do their job. They are always out of stock on something, charge you more for substitutions, and don't take pride in picking good produce for you.

This is a really nice store. They have a wonderful produce section. I love the world's food area because I'm able to get specific things that I would probably have to travel to the north side to get and it's such a blessing. Everyone is very sweet there and I feel safe in that store. Because Indianapolis is not a safe area and it's amazing where Meyer is on the east side of Indianapolis that's one of the safest stores I've felt like I'm in. So, they have Kroger beat

This store needs better management. Constantly getting charged a higher price on items than what is listed on the shelf. And if you get a cashier over at the self checkout, they tell you to go to customer service to get your money back, they won't even correct it. Really? I don't have time to babysit management and employees because someone isn't doing their job! Get with it and get it right. Didn't used to be this way here. The store in Cumberland is really gone downhill. Irritating!

Arrived last hour of business for the day. Several employees asked if we needed help locating anything. Store was neat and well stocked. Plenty of registers open, attentive associates.

Great for me one bus to store and home. Pretty well stocked and usually some type of excellent deal on meat. Vegetables always look desirable. Good prices.

I'm wondering should I ever return to this grocery store again .. Smh .. Ok , so where should I began ? Well , begin I must so here goes ..Last night , I went to Meijer's here on East Washington Street to buy groceries . I wanted to fry some catfish for my family and a pot of Rice-A-Roni (chicken & broccoli flavor) , and of course I bought a couple of other items too .. The packet of fish was wrapped because I got it from the meat department .. Come to find out the fish cost me $20.23 . And that was only for 5 pieces of fish .. Five pieces of fish isn't quite enough to satisfy me , muchless the rest of my family .. It's really disheartening to already get messed over by your employer , having to settle for part-time pay instead of full-time pay , meaning your finances are really low .. Your money is funny and your change is strange .. It's bad enough as it is to barely be able to afford the food because it's too expensive , but to have a cashier at a grocery store attempt or worst , actually beat you out of groceries , or beat you out of your money is even worst . That same day , I was in the checkout line , when an elderly man in front of me was being checked out by the cashier .. Now I'm looking at the few little items he had on the counter to pay for and the cashier rings up a total of $129 .. I saw on the cash register terminal where the cashier put in $70.67 for a pack of chicken wings . A regular pack of chicken wings aren't going to cost $70.67 . I don't care what you say . So I corrected the cashier , and the real amount was adjusted to the order .. I suppose had I not been there , that poor old man would most likely had been cheated out of an added $89 more . His adjusted new balance came to about $50 instead . I'm under the impression that cashier knew what he was doing . He probably intended to pocket the other $89 for himself . You're on a cash register for crying out loud . It's not like you had to estimate the price mentally .. Why can't these grocery stores do what's right by the customer ? Is that too much to ask ? You lose business with customers when you try to beat them out of their money . I've spent over $120 in that store myself , and don't have nothing to show for it .

Meijer always has someone at the door to greet me. Usually the store is pretty well stocked. The only issue I seem to have from time to time is the sale prices will not deduct at the register. Often have to take a picture to verify.

Every time I've visited this place, it's been a pleasant experience. Considering the side of town it's in, I was impressed the first time I came here.1. When you first walk in, the place is clean & organized.2. There is always a greeter & so far they've all been friendly.3. The always have an abundance of shopping carts available (big & small ones).4. I can say personally their deli, produce, sea food, & bakery items are better than Walmart or Kroger.Every time I've been they've always had sushi ready to eat in front of the deli counter (the sushi is so worth it).5. So far most of their shelves have lost items in stock.6. I've never had to wait in a huge line at check out & so far all the employees have been friendly.7. Their mobile app is easy to use.8. At check out you can enter in your mperks info on the debit/credit machine.Other stores in this area could really take notes on how things should be.

The store is ok, but do not go in the restrooms!! A Meijer employee told me that someone cleaned them at night. I think someone at the store should check on them several times a day. They are in dire need of attention! We were visiting on this side of town and stopped for soda. I have never visited a Meijer restroom that was this nasty! You wouldn't want a photo.

Love the bakery staff! I order my sons birthday cake from here every year and they always go above and beyond to make sure his cake is great. This year he wanted spiderman and sesame street and the cake was adorable!
