I use this as my pharmacy since I go grocery shopping here often. Sometimes, things go perfectly fine and I have no complaints. The staff seems competent, with a couple exceptions.
But recently I have been getting frustrated with how long it takes them to fill what seem like common meds - sometimes up to 3 or 4 days.
And the text notifications would be super convenient, except they are wrong half the time. For example, I was verbally told my antibiotic would be ready the next day, then got a text that it wouldn't be ready until the day after that. I waited all day in severe pain from an infection thinking my prescription wasn't ready. Then I happened to check the app, and it was indeed ready and their system just didn't inform me of that.
I think, like airlines, most pharmacies have issues, so I probably won't be switching to a different one. I just wouldn't recommend coming here if you need a prescription filled urgently.

HORRIBLE! Won't answer the phone unless they are putting you on hold. When I finally was able to speak to someone it was a rude girl that laughed the whole time and said they didn't have a common antibiotic and I would have to wait till the next day. When I had another pharmacy call to transfer the RX they said they didn't have anything under my name. Unprofessional and they simply do not care at all. Oh yeah, and they are LIARS!

The staff at this pharmacy always answer the phone quickly and are so eager to answer any questions I may have.
Editing review 8/8/24:
The pharmacists and technicians here continue to go above and beyond for their customers. I would give them 6/5 stars if I could.

Can't even answer the phone. Can't make money if you don't answer the phone to accept prescriptions.

We love Meijer Pharmacy. After poor treatment and unreliable Walgreens and CVS they are great. Their texting system is awesome. Just put in DOB no passwords to see what is filled. Reminders for vaccines.

The most incompetent crew ever assembled. My orders are wrong more than they are correct. They constantly enter insurance wrong, especially when there is co-pay assistance. They refuse to admit their mistakes, even after the insurance carriers confirms that they applied insurance incorrectly. Avoid at all cost unless you have extra money to pay for their mistakes.

They don’t always have medications in stock. Drive-thru tech mumbled so badly I had to ask her 3 times to repeat herself.

Didn't put water into my babies medicine, of course I picked up at 8pm, because that's when they told me to come back. And now have to wait to start his antibiotic with two busted eardrums from a rear infection.

Tried switching to this pharmacy because I thought it would be easier since I do my grocery shopping at Meijer, but I was wrong. This pharmacy almost never has my medications - they are almost always unavailable for one reason or another like being on back order or being out of stock constantly. Despite being on life altering medications, all you get when they tell you to your face they don’t have your medicine is a shrug of the shoulders. Pretty disappointing.

Starting out WEAK. I just had my first prescription sent here because it is close to home and I shop at Meijer. MISTAKE. Cannot get advised of when it is ready because no account. Cannot set up account without an RX number. Called to get RX number and was told "oh you have to get a prescription from your docto. LOL of course, but I already told you the situation? After repeating myself, I was told it will be ready at some point tomorrow. So I asked if I could just have the RX number so I can set up the account and see the update vs just having to guess and show up. I was told "NO, you can do that when you get here." I'm sorry, WHAT? Then she said have a great day and ended the call. What could have saved this:IF they had explained it was a system limitation and RX number was not available until it was filled first timeIF they had explained any kind of notification system that IS in place so that I would knowIF they had just apologized for the inconvenience and told me it was a policy. Also, the meijer pharmacy system at corporate needs to fix the requirements for new account registrations. This is beyond ridiculous and confusing. Terrible first experience.

I've tried to use this pharmacy twice since it is where I grocery shop regularly. Both times have been a disaster. The first time it took nearly 4 days to get a script filled. They have poor communication with customers and terrible customer service. This past time I called to see if my script was ready and they said yes and when I got there they said actually it can't even be filled. Just poor service all around.

They had my meds. Filled by the time I left the Dr. Office. Nice and courteous
