MDwise wants patients to die. That is why they now require prior authorization on medications that you currently have refills left on. This is not only medical negligence but is also racketeering. Also MDwise should no longer be stating that medications are covered when they obviously aren't. Get ready for a medical discrimination lawsuit.

No dermatologist takes this insurance. No Rheumatologist takes this insurance. Dental options are nearly zero and unbearable. My health has gotten worse, since getting this insurance.

The absolute worst!! Rude reps. Minimal to no benefits for clients and children, Outdated resources on their page for multiple states. No resolution to issues, Managers don’t call back. I would have preferred to rate them a zero!! Don’t bother taking the survey they refuse to send you the $30 gift card as stated on their website but they encourage you to retake it and yet you NEVER receive it, I get bounced around to various departments and given other numbers to call every time for nearly everything Lots of room for improvements but they don’t appear to want to make changes. I’ve had much better experiences elsewhere. After reading reviews from previous years it seems they are well aware of these problems and hear customers complaints yet nothing has changed.

The customer service is very helpful with answering questions when needed. The only time I have experienced frustration is with the phone tag between doctors office to the insurance company to change my family doctor. Besides that they were very helpful with all my medical issues so far when I have had emergencies and needed surgery. I am appreciative that they notify me of changes in writing as well as answering questions about the changes. This is the first insurance I've had as an adult on my own, and I have a great experience.

I've had the Hip+ plan with the extra benefits such as dental. I have never used the dental before until recently, and I've never had an insurance company provide me with a list of dentist, that when I call any of them, they all tell me the same thing. They don't accept MDwise!!! I have been looking online and calling around for months, to find a dentist who accepts Medicaid. Why would you offer dental benefits to people, but can't even find a dentist no where that accepts your insurance. I called customer service to complain, and tell them that these doctors they provided, don't accept Medicaid anymore, and they tell me they can't do nothing about it, and that the state, has to update the information. So im in need of seeing a dentist, but can't be seen unless they take Medicaid. Wow!

Why offer rides to appointments? I always call two days ahead and every. single. time. no one comes for me. I can’t drive because of my medical conditions. If you’re smart, you’ll find a different insurance company.

They dont allow you to have the right to deliver your baby the way you want.. Wont cover natural water births.. Why is that.. Not enough money for YOUR pockets?
