My grandma passed away last month. Our experience with Little and Sons was far from good. From the first phone call, the lack of communication with this company made it harder for us to navigate the death process, instead of making it easier. After 2 days of phone calls, leaving multiple messages with their call center, and then speaking with 3 different people, we were able to schedule a meeting.
After the meeting and expressing our concerns about the issues, I was promised that the scheduled service and communication would improve. Instead of improving, it got worse. Staff were absent during and after the service. No staff greeted our guests. The assigned funeral director never introduced herself to me or my mom at any point during the service. My mom came early to see my grandma’s body and again, no staff was present or checked in on her. At the end of the service when I was looking for help, I was told by the receptionist that the funeral director had already left. These are just a few of the many things that were wrong.
I met with the head director a week after the funeral to introduce myself and discuss the funeral. He repeatedly apologized and stated that this was not at all the way Little and Sons operates. He seemed genuinely upset and in disbelief about everything that happened. He said there would be re-education of staff, disciplinary action taken, and that he would investigate the reasoning behind the unacceptable service. He did apologize and tried to compensate some of the balance due, but a funeral isn’t something that can be re-done. I'm still in shock about our experience. When I shared with my friends and coworkers what happened, they looked at me in disbelief. I hope what happened to us, doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Little and Sons was used to hold my father after his death before he could be transported to Fort Wayne. Although they arrived in a timely fashion they sent one person to lift and load him. My son was with his grandfather and was asked to help. This seems very unprofessional.

The services delivered by Little & Sons were wonderful. My family and I were very pleased and appreciative. They made the process so easy for us. We could not be happier. God Bless them!

The circumstances of a funeral are emotional and trying. The way Little & Sons conducted themselves was a wonderful experience. No pressure or apparent effort to take advantage of emotions when selecting the services offered. Good people.

McKala and Daniel were both very professional, and at the same time, extremely compassionate and helpful. The staff at the church were so kind on such a hard day for our family.

Everyone at Little and Sons were very professional and helpful with he during the time of grief, as we all know it is something we as a familyhad not planned on at the present time.I know when a make my arrangement it will be at Little and Sons , becauseof there staff

Eric at Little & Son’s made the burden of my father’s service an easy experience. Not only was he incredibly polite, but he even called to check in on us a few days after the service. Little & Son’s even assisted us with driving all the flowers back to our house. It’s eerie to give such a good review to a funeral home, but they truly deserve it. Eric was a huge help and it warmed our hearts the way he sat and listened to every story that was told about my father the day of his service. Little & Son’s gave my father the service he deserved.

My sister passed away unexpectedly and Eric and his team at Little and Sons couldn't be more wonderful. His calm, soothing manner was just what our family needed. Eric never pushed to "sell" us, he walked us through the options, made great suggestions and really listened to what we said about my sister. Our simple service, our viewing was tasteful and yet we were given all the time we needed to say our final Goodbye's. I don't think Eric realized how much my family and I appreciated his support, empathy and his genuine sincerely.

Little and Sons did an amazing job for our family. They were compassionate and took care of every detail. Tiffany did a great job helping us with the planning. The celebrant Wendy was simply amazing. She prepared a service that was unlike anything we have ever experienced. The little touches she added to make the day more meaningful were so very much appreciated. Thank you for making such a sad occasion easier to navigate.

Our family felt that everyone at Little And Sons was very caring. They did not rush us even when it we took extra time before we closed the casket. Kay was wonderful. I cannot thank the funeral director and Kay enough for getting the arrangements scheduled so fast so our two military members could fly in and say their goodbyes. It was a beautiful service.
