From the first phone call, I’ve had a great experience. I was lucky enough to work with Mr. Cary Brown. He was extremely helpful, concise and professional. My apartment is great, still moving in at this time. I’m thrilled so far!I wanted to give a major shoutout to Cody one of the maintenance men. The keys to my front door stopped working. Cody came very late and stayed until it was fixed. I am so grateful for his knowledge, professionalism and compassion. He was wonderful and we are so grateful for him!

My agent kailey was very helpful. Has been very helpful and informative on the process, and has gone the extra mile to accommodate me and find the right place within a price range. It makes it very tough to not sign a lease right then and there

I recently visited LC apartments for a leasing event they had going on.. Kailey was who helped me with the whole process of applying and getting accepted. I have never met a more kind woman who is so compassionate about her job and other people as well. She kept in contact with me and kept me updated on everything going on during the whole process of getting approved. I cannot thank this woman enough for helping me through this as it was very tough looking for a new home. I highly advise anyone who is looking for a new apartment to work with Kailey! A big thank you to LC Apartment management and especially to her ! ?

I can honestly say my experience with Lake Castleton hasn't been as bad as the other reviews. When I first moved in about eight months ago, we had ants really bad, but we no longer have had that problem. The neighbors I do have now are awesome. There have been a couple of times we heard shooting but don't blame the apartment complex because they can not control what others do. I have noticed more security driving around. The office people we had our ups and downs, but in the end, they were doing their job. Yet, the office people still were understanding. I have put in two maintenance requests, both being taken care of within 48 hours. One of the gentlemen was so nice to my daughter, told her what he was doing, and got the job done correctly. I had another issue put in an order and was taken care of one again within 48 hours. Dash was helpful with describing what the issue was. He listened when I had questions and answered with confidence. He even helped with another small issue I asked about.

I have been waiting for nearly a year for maintenance to fix my patio door. It was off track and there is a gap in it from the threshold. I have submitted the request numerous times and have called the office to report the concerns. The feedback that I was given is they are short staffed, the maintenance staff have to order the parts. An outside company will have to be contacted. This is unsatisfactory and needs corporate office attention. This should have been taken care or prior to me moving in. This have been a headache. Staffing shortage or not this is as asinine as it gets. Need a better communication and follow up process. Not a happy tenant!!!

Maintenance has been very prompt and able to fix our issues quickly. Damon was great today and the young gal with red hair (forgot her name) was great yesterday when the toilet overflowed. So far so good!

Although the cost of rent is cheap, you get what you pay for! Their website advertises 2 beautiful pools, in which are not open for residents to use. When asked about it, residents are given differing answers; “They’re under maintenance.” or “We‘re just waiting to hire a life guard.”. In addition to that, my AC has been broken since July 2 and nobody has been out to repair it yet.. it’s July 13. There is zero communication from maintenance/property manager on when to expect repairs. When asked about this they told me “expect delays” and “buy a window unit”. I was also told they only have 1 technician to repair AC units, and they are not outsourcing work. If you are considering living at Lake Castleton, sometimes the cheaper option isn’t the best. Look elsewhere!

i had issues with my plumbing and the maintenance person who was responsible for the initial repair took over a day to show up. a lovely maintenance worker named Katelyn (spelling?) was adamant about furthering the request and making sure my needs were met. she was nice enough to give me a courtesy suite until said employee showed up the next day. she kept coming back to update us and went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable and taken care of.

I didn't live here, and I don't intend to. I toured this property a couple weeks ago and they have been pestering me ever since to leave them a review. The floor plans are nice, rent is middle of the road, and community amenities are great. That being said, safety is a concern. Lake Castleton can't even go 365 days without someone getting stabbed or shot. The leasing agent looked me in the eye and told me it's a "very safe community". When a Google search can catch you in a lie, maybe dont lie about it.

Darren, Kayleigh and Carey are all amazing professionals! They all worked with me and my family to help us through the application process. I was not satisfied with the first apartment that I was shown and Darren worked instantly to find me the perfect apartment that I was looking for! The staff are very friendly, personable and professional. I am a single woman so safety is a big concern for me. The apartment and the community is very clean, safe and quiet. I would highly recommend this apartment community to anyone!

Wish I could do a 0 star review. All the one stars and warnings about this place are 100% true. I'm not going to get into the horrifing details about how unsafe this place is. My biggest thing I want to warn about is the fraud and lack of filing important documentation. I left this place 2 years ago and thought my name was removed off a lease shared with a former room mate. Nope, found out today my information and name is still on this person's lease! After a hour phone call and my proof I hold no responsibility any more to this place I asked for copy of "proof" that I'm no longer on that lease. Legally this is bad on both the gentleman using my income information which for 2 year I have not reported to these people but yet I'm an income source. But it also looks bad on this complex because you signed legal documents stating I was removed but yet I'm still at risk of being responsible for this apartment if something happens because you never turn this paperwork in? Be warned this is not a safe place to live nor are they responsive to correct actions.

Absolutely pristine service! For having ~1200 Units the maintenance team and the gentleman who did the hands on work did an amazing job on fixing my AC unit in a timely and professional manner. They made me feel like my issue was their issue, and they were more than happy to help! They also let me use one of their portable units during the outage so i wasn’t burning up in 90 Degree weather! Very professional and happy with the service!

Kaitlin G you are Amazing!!! She came out and did all of my repairs and addressed all concerns. She made sure everything was done and working properly. Very professional! She made me feel extremely comfortable in my home. . She’s a great listener and took the time to problem solve in order to make sure things were done, right! if I could give her 10 stars I would! It was a great experience. I’m new to living here at Castle Lake and it was such a relief that everything has been taken care of. She made me a priority! Got everything done on the list. She’s very knowledgeable and knows what she’s doing. It’s pretty cool to see a maintenance girl/woman! Thank you again, Kaitlin, I really do appreciate you!

The only thing good about this place is Darren and he’s on his way out!Do not live here if you can afford any other place! We’ve dealt with rounds gunfire from next door on many many occasions. My wife has had a knife held to her. I’ve had a threat posted to my door because I didn’t hold a door open for someone on accident. Domestic violence upstairs. All that is whatever. It is what it is. I know the apartments are liable for this stuff but wouldn’t it be common courtesy to let us buy out of our lease without paying absurd 60 notice fees? Someone in the office offered to charge us $500 to move to a different unit??? You’re going to charge me because I want my family to be safe??? Customer service at its worse. What’s more is that you can’t even contact management. Office employees just give you the same BS line that they’ll have the manager call you. Never happens. Worst management I’ve ever seen. Like I said, Darren good, management bad.We aren’t even going to buyout our lease because it’s more expensive than just paying the last 4 months. Paying 3,000 for a vacated apartment. Moving out early. Whoever’s out there just come crash at our place there won’t be anyone there till September!Lake Castleton ownership should be embarrassed.

Mannnnn if I could give a zero star I would. This place is absolutely awful. Me and my boyfriend moved in September 2022. The second day our sink broke. The first day of moving in there were still holes in the wall. There is major safety concerns and we have expressed multiple times how unsafe we feel. The office staff does not know how to communicate with each other, we keep getting told different steps about the procedure of just transferring units and breaking the lease. The cooperate management office never answers their phones and they do not have a working voicemail. If you are thinking about living here just don’t. It’s not worth it.
