Horrible Staff Here and Favoritism. My niece was brought here and at first everything was perfectly fine. Until November of 2023 when my niece was attacked and bit by another kid. She was bleeding out of the cut and moved to the baby room until the other kid went to another room. We noticed her development started going backwards and she would pick up traits a baby would do. Her mother was worried and asked her to go back to that room ONLY if the staff watched the kid that bit her around her. Comes January 2nd and she goes back into the room with him. Keep in mind she is only 1 so of course she’s going to wonder and she goes over to the little boy. And not even one minute into going to the boy he hits her on her head. Her mother saw it on the cameras and called the lady at the front desk and she told her ok they’ll keep an eye out. Next thing you know he bites her again!! For the second time my sister calls the front desk and ask them to move her to a different room. And then ONCE MORE my niece was bit. Her father called up there to the front desk. The lady did not care, and told him to “put her in tutoring if you think she’s not going to get bit in daycare” her words exactly. I’m pretty sure her name is Shannon. But my sister went and got her and unenrolled her from la petite. Our mother also called up there and the same lady(Shannon) gave off an attitude. And made it seem like she didn’t care for the safety of my niece. This same kid was biting other kids too. I don’t know why these people are still in business. Don’t bring your kids here they don’t care for their safety and only look out for their own!

These people are snakes. They don't care about the safety of the children, the safety of the staff, not about updating the building, not about the toys and activities in the daycare rooms or nothing. All they care about is MONEY and how to get more out if you. So if you want to pay OUTRAGEOUS prices for sub par care, you will like this place. The class she was in at one point had 25 3-4 to 1 adult. While the front desk lady and the director just sat upfront chatting away like nothing is wrong. These place is the reason I will never go to a facility daycare again. The Director just randomly quit after they have 2 CPS claims against them. Oh and they have had there lisence under investigation since May by the state and they were put on probation on July 10th 2023. I have a letter from the state because they NEVER SAID ANYTHING!Worst. Place. Ever.

We moved here from a different state. Previously my daughter loved her daycare. We tried La Petite due to having availability & it’s affordability. Don’t make the same mistake. There were red flags: police in the parking lot once, an unkept dumpster, no greetings at drop of, a goodbye during week 2 where the staff member called our daughter the wrong name. We started logging on to the camera app to check in. We just happened to see a toddler girl attack our daughter& it took staff too long to go over& intervene. Okay that can happen at daycare. We log on later & it happens again! Finally a 3rd time! All in one day. We called& asked the staff, they transfer us to the phone in the room. The teacher needed additional help not a call, she didn’t answer. We hung up. No incident report was given at pickup. Hoping it was a one off situation, we kept sending her. Going into 3-4 weeks, similar situations occurred on camera. One solid intervention was viewed on camera, but we were never communicated with if the aggressive child’s parents were alerted or if the situations were being documented. Shame on us for not getting more involved. I’ve worked in childcare it’s tough. Our final straw was 3 days in a row they logged our daughter wasn’t eating. They logged she woke up from a nap& 3 minutes later she ate nothing. Thinking maybe she was sick we chose to go & pick her up, the school did not call us to do so. At pickup our daughter was screaming in a crib in the infant room. No teacher was addressing her. We never got an alert as to why she was moved to the infant room. They tried apologizing to my wife, the teachers were nervous, saying oh she finally ate on our lap. Our daughter ate&drank quickly when we got her home. We went to change her. She had a cut on her belly, a bite mark on her chest,& bruises on her legs. We sent emails with pictures the same day 11/2 asking for a response as to what happened. They called, apologized, but did not explain what happened. We asked they find out& respond via email. They should have camera history, we never heard back. We waited to see if they were working on a response. We asked again 11/9. It’s now 12/23 & clear they won’t be responding. We reported La Petite on Kildeer to the State of Indiana. We are so disappointed in ourselves & this daycare. We should have removed our daughter earlier on :( She is now happily attending daycare elsewhere. It’s a bit more expensive, but worth it. Hopefully our experience helps you make yours. - called the phone number in the response a customer service person called twice assuring me someone would get back to me… nope.

I have scheduled now 3 virtual tours and all have had issues. The first they didn't even have on their calendar. So I called them after waiting 15mins per the email that they could be busy. They rescheduled it and didn't send link to the next appointment again called back. Rescheduled it and today check my email and I get a notification that it was canceled. I called them again today to just tell them to forget it. Not very welcoming or seem to care. My husband is leaving the military and we are going back home and we cannot do in person visit. Very frustrating..thanks for wasting my time..

My two kids have been going here for almost 3 years. They have so many friends there and enjoy their time at La Petite. I love knowing that when I go to work that my kids are taken care of and treated with kindness and love and watched how they should be. Ms. Katy and Ms. Shannon (plus all of the other wonderful girls there) go out of their way to keep me in the loop of daily events. any issues or ongoing activities. It is a huge relief knowing that my kiddos are happy and well taken care of every day while I am at work. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs excellent care for their children! All of the employees work so hard every day and are certainly very much appreciated! They all deserve a RAISE! :)

The Director (Katy Denk) and Assistant director are wonderful. They are caring , thoughtful, and kind. When you’re considering a daycare you will want to place your child at a daycare that takes the time to get to know your child and you to make sure the center is meeting your needs.

Poor work environment. I am not allowed to say more because of the employee handout, but I highly recommend going elsewhere for employment and for a happy environment for your children.

Tried to set up a tour to see if we would like to go and we're told we had to wait two weeks for a tour. The number listed on Google does not go to the academy but a 1-800 person somewhere across the country. The gentleman on the phone stated they do have spaces but could not get us a tour for two weeks. Not the best business practice, nor is it ok to expect a family to enroll their children sight unseen. They were not able to hold two spots for us until we complete our tour. Not impressed with the business practice.

I have a 2 year old and school age child who attend this daycare and we love it. We always feel welcomed and safe when leaving our children in their care. My school age child has blossomed over these past few months, and she is no long in her shy shell. Another bonus is how much they also keep you updated on how your child is doing though out the day. Makes my day to receive cute little pictures of my children enjoying activities while at daycare.?

I am so happy we found this daycare! After I decided to go back to work full time I was so nervous about leaving my son at daycare as he had never been left with anyone but myself. From the beginning the staff at la petite were very helpful and informative. My son had a bad first week to where he wasn't eating or napping and not used to his new schedule. His teachers reassured me this was normal and it would get better. Thankfully it did and Ms tawnie and ms destiny were so great with him. He absolutely loves them! He runs into daycare now and loves all the teachers there. I love the app they have and we can track his whole day. They let me know when he eats, goes to the bathroom and posts pictures of him as well. We love it!

Ms P Wilson hired me and she was the best! I worked there for a year and management is full of shenanigans and lies. No integrity and definitely no loyalty. My position was Administrative Assistant and when I went on a furlough for CoVid19, per Director Ashley which she said came from Manager Shannon that I would return to only clean the bathrooms and be the maid for Lapetite. Needless to say I resigned and Just for the records I have my A.A.S and several certificates of training and over 20 years of valuable experience/training.I loved the children and enjoyed the parents.If your children are telling you things are going on..BELIEVE them and follow your intuition, gut feeling and challenge them Teachers and management about your child status. They have cameras but as a parent you will never be allowed to view them, parents have requested and it never happens. If you child makes a statement and it happens to be another staff present to collaborate staff story...don’t believe it...

My daughter goes here & it's okay. I love a few of them. My daughter has accomplished alot & I love the fact that they take time out to care for them. I feel comfortable & safe with my baby attending this daycare.

I would recommend la petite. The teachers are nice and enjoy the updates throughout the day I get for my son. My son comes home all the time talking about what he has learned and done each day.

My lil sister (Maliyah) go here & she loves her teachers & friends. She has learned a lot being in this daycare. They go over & beyond for her. 5 Stars
