I had back surgery and I’d just like to say my cashier Barbie went above and beyond to help me with a seat , my groceries and helped the bag man at the end help me to my car and put the heavy things into my vehicle and made sure I was ok cause I ended up doing to much and almost fainted from my pain by the time I was finished shopping and I really hope the Kroger Family recognizes her as an outstanding employee representing there team . I have been Bragging about her to everyone I speak to cause she is one of the good people not everyone would of helped to that degree . She deserves something other than my praise an thank you’s . I hope she gets it ?

The Kroger on Crawfordsville Rd continues its decline. The staff are not friendly and on my last visit I had a young cashier actually be rude to me and tell me she did not care if I go somewhere else. I was told it wouldn't "bother her money". With front end attitude like that I have decided my 30+years of Kroger patronage is at an end. They have lost my business.

I just had the WORST experience at Kroger. It was 5:20pm on Christmas Eve. I arrive at this store thinking it closed at 11pm because that's what Google had posted. First, I walk in and there are no carts or baskets for shopping. So, I walked to the other side of the store. I see a male employee with several carts and I wave him down because the door didn't automatically open. He sees me and had a meltdown. He's talking fast and waving his arms. He says, "Did they tell you to come down here? They just told me to put these here!!" I say, "No. But, there are no carts on the other side for shopping." He keeps demonstrating overwhelm and frustration while interacting with me. I finally say, "Can I have a cart?" He says, "No." I walk away. He looks relieved. I decide to go outside to look for carts and notice that employees have collected all of them. I realize the store has locked all the carts up. Confused, I find the Holiday hours sign and it shows that Kroger closes at 6pm. I'm kinda mad... like why are they taking the carts at like 5:20pm??!! I find a handheld basket and try my best to shop. Once back inside, I notice most customers are holding there items to purchase in their hands. It's crazy! Then, the employees made announces every 2-5 minutes to say, " You have 15 minutes to shop... You have 12 minutes to shop..." and so forth. It was a mad dash. I could only purchase some items I needed because I couldn't physically hold all my items. So, basically, my body is hurting from carrying groceries And I feel overwhelmed because the employees keep announcing, "If you're not in line by 6pm, you will be unable to complete your purchase." While checking out with 7 minutes to go, I witness a woman's bagged groceries burst all over the floor. I mean broken glass, red sauce, eggs... huge mess. Employees were super slow to help her. As I'm checking myself out through self-checkout with 20 plus items, I hear employees yelling into the parking lot, "We're closed!!! You can't come in here!!" As I leave, an employee says to another, "We got some stragglers!!! Aghh... We're Closed!!!" Technically l, they weren't closed. It was still a couple minutes before 6pm. I have never felt so disrespected as a human in a grocery store. It seemed as if the only employees who respected folks were the cashiers, the stockers, and the person who approved for me to get through the self-checkout. But, whoever was in charge with the carts or the doors... whatever... they were the worst customer service employees I ever encountered. I will not be giving Kroger my business in the future. And, I encourage anyone thinking of coming to this Kroger location to just go somewhere else... that way you can be treated with respect and like a human being instead of a problem blocking an employee from punching out on their time clock.

One of my go to Kroger's. Always super busy but lines move fast. Huge number of self checkouts. Most of the time have the stuff stocked I want. Sometimes boxes of product stacked in aisles by meats, but I don't mind, its easy to get around. Large deli area.

I will give this store a 5 star review. Other than Sara Neimann at the deli. She loves to serve under cooked chicken to customer at the hot foods side. Plz give her position to someone that knows how to cook chicken. I will not eat anything that comes from her. The only chicken I will eat is if it came from Heather, or Kurt. No one else. Kurt, and Heather makes amazing juicy white meat chicken. I am a dark meat person but those two makes me eat the white meat too

Kurt in the deli is always very helpful and amazing. He is always very polite even to the rudest of customers I have seen him deal with.

Stopped by to get a gal of milk at 9:50pm Sunday, August 27, 2023. Was stopped by armed, uniformed police officer on my way in to tell me the store is closed. I replied the store does not close until 10pm and I just need to get a gallon. He restated the store is closed you'll have to come back tomorrow to do your shopping. I got back into my vehicle and called the store. A man answered the phone with thank you for calling Krogers this store is closed. I asked what time do you close? He said 9:53. I replied that that is an odd hour to close I think they closing time is 10 p.m.. He said only for people that are already in the store. I asked his name he said it is Daniel, I asked to speak to a manager he said there is not a manager here right now. I replied thank you I will be calling back in the morning. He replied with suit yourself, and hung up. I stopped at two more convenience stores but was unable to find milk available. I will be calling the manager of the Kroger store and complaining and I will also be complaining to the corporate headquarters. In the time it took to tell me the store was not open and turn me away I could have been into the store purchased my milk and been on my way home. This was totally unacceptable.
