Went to get my son a pair of Doc Martin boots for winter today. There was one lady juggling 3 customers and doing a good job greeting everyone. I realize this location isn’t in the best of areas so I tried not to take offense to the fact they only bring out one shoe at a time to try on. No not one pair….. one shoe. Non the less we found our size a men’s 7 after trying a 6. They lady still juggling customers boxes them up and I asked her to make sure it was correct as she was already confused by the unisex, UK sizing. She appeared to double check the boots and the box and assured me they were correct. Well I get home and there were two right boots one a size 6 and one a size 7. So now I get to drive clear back to the mall and waste another hour and a half to get this corrected. When I arrive the lady who waited on is asked what was wrong. I explained what happened and she couldn’t believe it. She was stunned like she couldn’t make a mistake. I suggested that if you would treat your customers like guests instead of criminals you could avoid this happening. Instead of apologizing she said I offended her! Really? You keep the boxes on the ground behind the counter and only give guests one shoe at a time to try on and I offended her? Again I realize this is a high crime area and you have to protect your assets but don’t tell me I’ve offended you….. simply apologize for the mistake.

Highly recommend the Castleton Square Journeys store! Sara was amazing!! On Black Friday morning, she spent a lot of time with us to make sure we got just the right fit. When the color and size we wanted in the Converse sneakers wasn’t in stock, she was able to order it in-store, and it arrived to my house just 24 hours later! Thank you, Sara, for making the whole process a breeze!

The manager Sara is amaizing. I will say I was complimenting the way she is a great sales women. She literally had selling shoes down to a science. She will not return without a shoe no matter if they do not have what you requested. I love that because you may have your mind set but when whey can recommend something similar thats a great things. All to find out she was the manager! They picked the perfect person to manage this store. My hubby purchased 4 pair of shoes for our girls and himself. We will definitely return because the service was great. All of the girls seem to be ready to service you soon as you walk in. I love that. Great customer service is always a plus in my book. Thank you Sara!!

Great customer service! Friendly staff. There were 3 employees there (awesome ladies) when I visited on 11/6/21. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store, and each employee did a great job of establishing rapport with me. I received a fond farewell after completing the sales transaction and while departing the store.

Journeys for children is great for kids shoes.They have a wide selection and it cozy. You dont feel overwhelmed with wall to wall shoes like the bigger stores
