Edit. This was originally a 5 star review. I have had to change this to 1 because of the terrible service I have received the second I signed the lease. As soon as you sign the front office acts like you don't exist. I did not have a working shower for the first three months of living here even after putting in maintenance requests and going to the office multiple weekends in a row. I am currently writing this review at 430 in the morning because a fire alarm has been going off for the past 2 hours hours and this is the 3rd time this month this has happened(this is because of faulty alarms they refuse to fix). If you ever need anything don't bother calling any of their numbers for the office or maintenance because no matter when it is you will always get a voicemail which will never be responded to. They also tack on extra fees to rent whenever they feel like it. I have had to pay $200 above my rent for the past two months because of random unexplained fees. The front office people are very rude and never cooperative. I beg you please do not be tricked by their kind caring attitude when showing the apartment. This is a trap and as soon as you sign you are treated like garbage and forgotten about. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.

Worst apartment lease! Staff and main office are not in communication which leaves the lease holder in the middle with no solution given to residents not renewing lease. Important FYI Get everything in writing. Just to add to mockery they have an automated system that replies as if they care! They are not going to honor the word of any employee because they have high employee turnover rate. So good luck with “corporation” hiding behind canned emails. ??Don’t fall for the mirage you see online via pictures or in person when you arrive.

I received text messages and emails stating the my maintenance tickets were marked complete when they were not even touched. My first maintenance request from day of move in was still not completed at the end of my 1 year lease.

Would NOT recommend! THESE UNITS HAVE ROACH INFESTATIONS! The office will not send the pest control people to spray - despite paying for it monthly with rent. The renovations are sub-par and are an excuse to overcharge for rent. The gaps and holes created with renovations brought roaches to my unit. The office staff have bad attitudes with an unwillingness to resolve tenant issues. They will tell you they’ll help or take steps toward resolution, but nothing happens. They close your maintenance tickets as resolved, but don’t take any action, communicate or schedule assistance. Do not rent here, there are better places for your money.

I feel that the leasing office staff definitely deserves a raise or some recognition for their hard work! I’ve witnessed both shatima and Devon work short handed but still manage to accomplish all they can !

I NEVER EVER write reviews but I COULD NOT go forward without writing one on these apts. I looked online and applied for a unit May 31. As of June 20th there was no contact or information. I called on 6/20 for assistance since even online it states my app was awaiting completion. I got the property manager who was mean and aggressive since the start of the call because I was politely asking why I hadn’t heard. The manager got a terrible attitude when I asked how I would know anything was done because no one had contacted me to the point when I just stopped talking totally before I exploded. This apt complex is awful and if they treat you like this before u lease….RUN. They would not give me refund even tho my app was not even processed and no one had communicated with me. Horrible!

Beautiful community, wish the bathroom counters were taller and the unit came with a washer and dryer also if the fitness center was more fitnessy, more like a cardio room but newly renovated looked very nice

Living here is a roller coaster if you're someone who prefers stability. They've been renovating and "updating" for close to 2 years now and they're hired team leaves a disaster in their wake. You're lucky if your apartment isn't actually broken to pieces by the time they leave. My rent rose $300 in one year without notice and with no time to secure another home because they suddenly changed their renewal policy without announcing it. You pay an astronomical amount to have maintenance enter your home unannounced and without notice before or after, rarely fixing a thing. It's a place to live and it's pretty. That's about it.

If I could give it 0 stars I would ! I have lived here since April 2021 and CAN NOT WAIT TO LEAVE! DO NOT MOVE HERE! Maintenance request will be left open for MONTHS without repair and then they will just randomly close them. Maintenance is weird on top of that and will take photos of you with personal phones. The garbage pick up is low quality and the dumpster is always over flowing. They charge 1600 for a small 2 bed townhouse style and it’s less than 1000 square feet. The “renovations” were a joke all they really did was change counter tops but all the baseboard and railings are cover with sloppy layers of thick paint the carpets, wood flooring, paint, and cabinets are the same from 2021. They charge luxury prices but have terrible communication, low security, terrible customer service or care, maintenance makes you feel uncomfortable, ghetto repairs, chipping paint. This apartment need a realty check you are ripping off families everyday and should honestly be ashamed of yourselves.Update: the closet got “fixed” it’s super unstable and is drilled directly into dry wall again

Applicants "BEWARE"Starting with SHATIMA, the biggest scammer of them all. If your foolish enough to fall for every word coming from her mouth like my family and I did, you will want to remove whatever teeth she has left in her mouth. She will show you a very well furnished Apt. that's in decent condition "that's part of plot" take your money, and try to put you and your family in a delapitated apartment at the last minute that she and the rest of the scammers claim was renovated. Which at this point, you've probably set your hopes high, placed things in storage, and gave your other landlord your sixty day's notice to vacate in writing. SHATIMA and all the rest of the scammers know all this to be true because it's why they DO NOT SHOW you your actual apartment until the day you come get your keys. At this point your going to be highly upset. Honestly, the only unit these people were able to afford to renovate is the display they will show you.Keep Searching!!!!!!becaus Island Club Apartments ain't it.

Had an appointment with a agent who i spoke with the day prior to bring my family for a viewing. That didnt happen. Thank you to the gentleman who let me view his home and gave us the run down about the apartments. I will be looking else where!

Was supposed to transfer from my unit to another unit today. I called the office and asked what time I should come take my keys to my new apartment, and they said ma’am that unit isn’t ready yet! Just like that? After I took time off work today? After I already got movers to come move my stuff? There’s no communication whatsoever and this makes me feel some kind of way!!! This apartment doesn’t even care about their residents.

I advise nobody to move here. Where do I start ..Inside of the apts were filthy and the renovations were terribly done. We were not allowed to look at our apt till the actual move in date. The front door was rusty and baseboards from the inside of the apt were crusty, old, and tearing apart. Both bathroom toilets were not planted on the floor which made them rocking back and forth, the installation of the sink/drawers were also crooked and horribly placed. Maintenance also never came and fixed anything! All except for one time when we had a leak seeping from the walls/baseboards that flooded our living room floors, they came and cut out a huge hole in our wall and never came back and fixed it until MONTHS later when it was time to move out. So the whole entire time we had a hole in our wall. Kids would be outside throwing rocks at your car, thank god they let us out of our our lease early because they knew they were wrong for this! The pictures look good online but the inside of these apts are terrible. They’re overpriced for no reason.. if your going to pay this amount of money pay for quality and do not move here.
