This has been the absolute worst customer service experience in my entire life. I got taxes done over a month ago . They are still not done correctly. Now I can not get anyone to fix the mess they created. I will never come back and will continue to tell everyone what a horrible experience this has been.

I have been using this particular HR block for 15+ years now and they've always taken excellent care of me and my family's tax needs whether they were EZ or sometimes a bit more complicated. I highly recommend this office.

Horrible customer service plus they charged $500 for one standard tax return. Terrible attitude from receptionist. Find another option!

Zero stars. A mistake was made on my return but master tax advisor wouldn't admit it. Said it was a "technological error". H&R Block advertises that they "sign and stand behind every return we prepare." "100% satisfaction. 100% accuracy."

Advocate for yourself, and if something seems off - ask for issues to be reviewed by a different professional immediately. Just because the tax professional puts figures on a form, it doesn't mean they understand your tax situation or are prepared to provide best-case guidance for you.We had an appointment with Clara Fowler for tax preparation. We were charged $555 and our taxes were done incorrectly. Something just didn't seem right, so we engaged a different tax professional who provided guidance. We were also pressured by the original tax preparer to give high marks on the follow up reviewWe returned to the branch and escalated our concerns to Mark Anderson who was helpful in correcting the errors on our initial return. The errors resulted in a $5,000 variance on our refund. When we asked for our $555 to be refunded based on the "Max Refund Guarantee" we were told $50 was the most we could get.We asked to have the issue escalated to H&R Block Corporate, and have had no calls or emails returned since. Our initial appointment was 2/9/2023. It took moser than a month to get the returns corrected and another month fighting for a refund, which still hasn't been resolved. Formal complaints have been filed with H&R Block.

Dr. Mark Anderson is the best tax preparer that I have ever worked with. Don't use Turbo-Lax or Jerkson-Hubert as they typically use rookie employees that don't know what they are doing.

I went in on Jan 3rd to file taxes with Pedro. I have filed my taxes for years online. Simple W2 never needing extra help. I was in need of an advance so I agreed to do my taxes with a pro. During our session he made several implications on the amount of advance i was getting (to find out later he has 0 control or regard in the approval process) he then proceeded to tell me the amount available after i was charged almost $500 for him to file my taxes? Ive always done online for free and he got the exact same numbers I did when I prefiled to see what amount of refund to expect. After I leave and attempt to confirm available funds from the advance he said I received, i have to contact 5 different people because the emerald card customer service said they never receieved an application in my name. After several hours of not hearing from anyone, i finally hear something back. I go in the next day to talk to Pedro and ask him why he would say i had 'X' amount available if he had never even submitted the application. Its you alls job to make taxes easier. Not scam people who dont know your language.His response "i never said you were getting that much"Myself- i beg your pardon? Yes you did, you even told me how I can go to kroger to drain the account.pedro-"Well I'm sorry you misheard what I said, let me make it up to you. Can I take you to lunch? "Unprofessional. Misleading. And couldnt give me a breakdown as to why it was $400+ to file what I do for freeEvery. Single. year. I WILL not ever file with H&R block and I suggest that anyone trying to get an Emerald Advance, dont waste your time. Theyll overcharge and lead you to believe things that are incorrect. And then make unprofessional passes "to make up for it" And 2 weeks later, MY TAXES STILL HAVENT EVEN BEEN SUBMITTED. I always file early to get my refund early. Giant waste of my time and money. Dont do the same. File online with Turbo or literally anywhere else.
