Wish I could give ZERO stars. Their ATM ate 700 dollars of my only money a week ago, my account is negative now. And they haven't offered a credit to help me until they fix their own mistake. I called this morning and they said they were working on it and it should be done by this afternoon, now they're saying that it's still unresolved for whatever reason and they'll now call me tomorrow. Worst customer service I've ever gotten. No empathy for their customers with BILLS TO PAY! They have offered no resolutions to help me in the meantime other than to have me sitting and waiting on all the money I just had. Don't bother with this branch.

Filed a fraud dispute at this branch. Waited a couple of weeks. Nothing was refunded to my account. Could not reach this branch via phone. Called 1800 number & there was no record of the dispute even being filed. Go elsewhere. This branch really dropped the ball.

I called and aaked if they can open a bank account with an EIN, the 1 person did not know if the did or what i was talking about and put me on hold for a few mins. A smart asz with twang in his voice picked up the line. I had to explain all over again to these dumb nighas. He was about to say something smart along with, No we dont, I guess cause they are near the Meadows apt. They think nobody would have a probate.. A simple account is cause for suspicions. Poof, these will be gone in no time. Keep you dumb, dont keep the type employed.

I feel some training will assist bank with aligning with franchise do’s & don’ts. Went to bank to make payment on my mortgage using drive thru. Banker says I can’t do it through drive thru I need to come in. I have been making payment for last 7 months through drive thru. I said well is there any security information I can offer to ensure my identity if that is what this is about, she says her manager said since it’s over $1000 I needed to come in. I did file a formal complaint. If they had needed to close the bank lobby and only use drive thru then I would of still been in same situation. Before you ask i wasn’t asking for any cash, just wanted to pay my mortgage had all documents that was sent in to banker, still denied. I just don’t understand since I made that same payment last month using the drive thru. When I called customer service I was advised that location gets a lot of complaints. I won’t be visiting that location again. This is how you lose customers, this is how you lose accounts. I only asked for the same service I had been getting for 6 months. New ppl make up new rules! If you can, visit a different location.

I'm very happy that First Merchants decided to put a bank in this neighborhood. The staff is very professional and friendly.

You need to update your business hours,it doesn't say if your closed or open,glad I called and didn't just go there I would have been very dissapointed
