They were actually open until 10 p.m. and I was so grateful and thankful for this place. I honestly was just making a wild guess when I was trying to find a place to buy my dog food on such short notice and thankfully they were open just as they're supposed to be they didn't close early they were so nice and polite they were very welcoming and I have never had a better experience at a dollar store especially family Dollar. Thank you so much for making my late last-minute night shopping fiasco a success keep up the good work English avenue store number 5619 or 5691 not sure

They sell canned goods that are very dented . I asked for a manager and she finally came to the front of the store . I asked her if she would take like 10 or 15 cents off the dented cans she said no . I said they are dented & told her no I didn't just dent them ? I was trying to be funny and even told her they were for my dogs . I said I believed you can possibly get sick because of the metal being dented & she then replied we never mark them down we sell them . Her manager has never said mark them down . The 18 year old cashier knew something about metal being dented . Now mind you they were not the name brand they were generic and they are a $1.00 a can . Kroger is a cheaper name brand green beans . I thought it was funny ? so she didn't get rid of the dented cans to me I told the 18 year old cashier then just give me the 1 can that is not dented .Sincerely R.Scott P.S. Is there a possibility that you could get sick from a dented can good or is that something we were told growing up . Is it true or false ? If you are reading this & know the answer could you ask a question with the answer please I would truly appreciate it

I’ve been there a few times. The people I’ve interacted with are kind. They may need some more staff to help them out I know that the DG next door has been facing the same issues. It has what you need and they are helpful when it comes to needing a price check.

One of the best Family Dollar stores around... I think mainly cause the workers here care or at least pretend to care about their customers. They will small talk with you or keep it simple just depends on your (the customers preference). I'll hate to see this store go if it's on the chopping block.

They had what we were looking for. The customer service was great. But the store needs some deep cleaning. The floors were extremely dirty and trashed.
