Was in a time crunch to get new tires before taking roadtrip. Ordered a new set from TireRack to be delivered and installed here. TireRack delayed the delivery the morning of my appointment. Instead of rescheduling me, Joe at discount tire sent a driver to get me the set of tires from their location and had them installed in less than an hour. Amazing customer service!

Discount has been my favorite tire service place since they appeared in the area back in the early -mid 90's. They offer to come out and check your air pressure and will fill your tires. The best part about it is that all of their employees have great customer service. Make this your place for tire service.

I arrived ten minutes early for my appointment, waited in line for 16 minutes to be told that I would need to wait 90 minutes for my scheduled tire rotation. Apparently I've been spoiled for the last decade by the southside location on 31. I've never waited more than an hour. I only choose this location because I was trying to take a long lunch and do it during the day. I'll be going back south where they can manage their time properly.

N Michigan road location is good service but WAY too busy. They said the Lafayette Road location closed bc of someone having a weapon there. That is so sad that the rest of us have to suffer not having that location nearby bc of bad actors.

Don't! I dealt with Austin and I put new tires on my husband's car which I thought were warranted but now I'm not sure. I took my daughter's car back over there to get her tires rotated and balanced and was told her tires are awful! She took her tires back to Cagney's automotive in Indianapolis. The only reason I didn't go there first is because they were like a week out, well that tells you something. She took her car there her tires were rotated and balanced and they are fine now. Beware guys! Why people still continue to do this stuff is perplexing to me. There are social media if they do not know, but there is! Don't take your car there. They will lie to you. Take your car to Cagney's. I'm not sure where it's at but it's in Indianapolis and they are a week out or more and there's a reason for that!

I was recommended this place by another auto repair place for a bent wheel repair/replacement. I was initially pretty happy with the experience as they replaced the wheel for a reasonable price, but unfortunately my car had a pretty concerning noise/vibration after replacing the wheel.I took it back to them due to the noise and asked them to contact me with updates. I dropped the car off at 11am and the service staff went to look at it immediately after I dropped it off so I expected a call in no time.3 hours went by so I called and checked in and they had actually been done for awhile it seemed but never called. When I went to pick up the vehicle essentially I was told that there was an issue they were unable to repair or even diagnose as they are not actual mechanics... The issue explained to me was one that in part was caused by the service itself, and they couldn't do more to address it even though they had been partly responsible for the problem.So lesson learned I guess? I would think that if a car comes in with damage that could cause other issues you would want to disclose that they wouldn't be able to address anything but the wheel itself. When I pointed this out the service person actually flipped the blame on me, saying that I should have asked if they were going to be able to check for damage, even though I had made it abundantly clear when I came in what the wheel damage was caused by.I have now been pointed to another shop to look into an issue that will likely cost me more than if I had taken it to a place that had actual mechanics. At no point was I under the impression these people were not mechanics, it was never disclosed that they had not looked into potential further issues and they sent me on my way. If there had been an even worse issue I could have been seriously hurt or even killed. I would have never used this place to address an issue like this had I known nothing was being checked outside of the wheel itself. Poor communication and having people working on your car who are not mechanics are not a good idea for something as important as your wheels and tires. Extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately I hit a pothole causing damage to my tire. Thankfully my road hazard warranty covered partial replacement.Laney provided a friendly and timely check in! Mason and his staff replaced two tires and kindly repaired another in a timely fashion!My suggestion is to make sure to book an appointment to save yourself some time.

I have used Discount Tire for many years for tire air pressure checks. Staff members have always been courteous and helpful. Today was my first visit to this location on Michigan Road as the Lafayette Road location closed.

My appointment was at 9:00am I got there at 8:15am. My vehicle is in the bay around 9:20am. Apparently the Goodyear tires that were order per the representative over the phone would not fit my rim. After sitting there looking at my vehicle with no tires on it a hour later I asked is there a problem with my tires? At that time a guy says we're trying to figure out why the tires aren't fitting the rims. I asked why didn't someone come tell me that. The other guy apologized for the lack of communication. 20 minutes later I'm told they will have to order a larger tire? and that it wasn't anyone's there fault. But they are the ones who ordered the tires. I asked for my deposit to be refunded and explained that the problem was no one communicated to me and I sat there for a total of 3 hours. Bad customer service!!!! They put my original tires back on and said have a nice day it was the. 11:20am☹️. No one even tried to make things better ?.
