People were friendly and helpful in locating products. The store is clean and well laid out. There are several people offering samples and popular brands and delicious foods.

They were advertising free coolers when you sign up for Visa card or autorenewal with your membership. Waited over 20 minutes in line because two people were holding up the customer service lines. A manager came up at one point and avoided eye contact with everyone in line. Of course after waiting I find out that I'm ineligible because current Visa members are automatically enrolled in autorenewal. It was probably noted on the sign but I don't carry a magnifying glass to read text that small. Pretty garbage way to treat customers. Been a member since 2018. Not sure if I wanna keep my membership at this point. I've had too many bad experiences at this location. Once I bought a laptop to be picked up instore. They wouldn't let me shop the store with the laptop, you know spend money. It was winter and there was no way I was gonna leave my expensive laptop in my car to get damaged or stolen. I had to call the store to BEG to let me come in and spend money. Like, yall don't have laptops on the sales floor in brown cardboard manufacturer packaging. Please tell me why I should keep my membership. Cos you keep treating me like dog poop. Especially one of your door greeters. She's got some kind of chip on her shoulder. She doesn't smile, say hi, or any other behaviors that would make her seem friendly. Couldn't even acknowledge that I showed her my membership card. I'm tired of getting treated like I'm a bad person.
Also, don't buy the Caesar salads. They always have nasty wilted lettuce in them. And every time I buy them there is less and less chicken in them. Classic switcheroo. Put out a good product for a bit, then they start cutting corners to save money. LOL, I will just save money by not shopping here anymore.
Again... why should I pay $60 bucks a year to be treated so poorly?

I like it but they are very demanding with the membership and it is strange that stores like that are almost always friendlier in that sense, Sams is better..

Helpful staff, happy employees

Store is clean and somewhat organized. Staff could do a better job of customer service by actually greeting and helping customers instead of having personal conversations. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Store seems less efficient than Michigan Rd store.

Jose at the front counter was extremely rude. Said I had an inactive membership however turns out I don’t have the EXECUTIVE membership anymore. How rude and embarrassing for him to give me ZERO effort in finding a solution, instead chooses to kick me out of line after i patiently waited my turn. As you can see I hardly write reviews, and if I do I love to write a good review. This time, Costco castleton shows its inability to uncover a trivial miscommunication on his end. I knew I had membership (not renewing another time) , Jose was not willing to simply help me find my account.

I was there with my 94 yr old aunt and we were in line to check out. A person got in front of us, like we were not even there and Meechi told him not to disrespect us by cutting us. My aunt was in a wheelchair because she can't walk far. I appreciate the way Meechi handled it and the respect hw showed my aunt.

Love Costco! We drive an hour+ to get to our store and it’s always a fun shopping trip. Great deals and selection.

Costco in Castleton is the WORST! The employees are consistently so rude. They make up their own “rules”. Today, the greeter lady reprimanded me for showing the front of my Costco card (which I’ve been doing for over a decade) and said I should be showing her the picture side. Ummm, the picture is a tiny, blurry, gray-scale picture from 10 years ago that I guarantee she cannot verify as I walk through the entrance. One cashier yelled at me to put my plant on the conveyor belt because it’s not her job to manually scan it. So then the next time, I put my plant on the conveyor belt since I got yelled at previously. But then this cashier yelled at me for putting it on the conveyor belt because it’s unsanitary if soil gets on the conveyor belt. (Leaking raw meat packages go on there, but what do I know.) I just don’t see how the employees at this Costco have so many of their own “rules” and have the audacity to treat customers the way they do. Also, their produce seems to be consistently subpar to the other 2 Costco locations. It’s always an unpleasant experience at Castleton Costco. The Costco in Noblesville and on Michigan Rd are so much better!
