The internet is great but I have had 6 people to come out within a month worked late came home can't turn tv up now I need 2 remotes really ,then I went and got a dvr box hooked it up in my front room only to take another person to come out to hook up the box . That I transfered to the bedroom .When cable is hooked up through them u need a box anyway so y not run it through the house? As if that wasn't enough my satellite was just fine now I'm paying more for the same channels. Worse company ever and now I need them to come out again to give me another remote and all of this through COVID-19 REALLY. The most unsatisfied customer EVER.... UUUGGGHHH

Only gets one star because i can't give it 0 stars. Bad provider, overpriced, bad service (which you need service almost weekly because a shoddy product)... I could rant to the point of breaking my fingers on my phone, but its my only reliable internet. #Defund Brighthouse.

Used them for internet. Was supposed to be high speed but never was, ever. The only thing high speed was how fast we received bills. They charge top dollar for the crappiest internet we've ever had. Switched to a different company, and now 2 months later, we're still getting bills from spectrum. Stay away from this company please!!! There's so much better out there, ATT, Xfinity both way better. Been on hold for over 30 minutes to get someone who can help with this. Customer service is a waste of time and now we've paid twice to close the account. So this time it's closed? We e paid almost $200 for nothing just to get them off our backs. STAY AWAY! BEWARE!!

This company is a joke. Glitchy internet service at best. They don't prorate your bill if you cancel on sixth day of the month. You still get charged the entire month. The only way they warn you of an increase in cost is on your statement among all of the very tiny fine print. If you're on auto pay and don't open your statement, you'll never see it. They then blame you for this. Great way to encourage autopay, right? The best part? They charge you for unreturned equipment the minute you cancel service. I'm so glad we have several options in our area for internet, and we found a much faster service for half the price and much better customer service. Go away spectrum!

I wish no stars was an option. After I was on the phone with customer service all day they sent me to this Spectrum store 40 minutes away to swap out my router. I rush to the store with 10 minutes to spare before they close. The lady at the front desk, RUDE. Their parking lot was under construction and apparently where I parked wasn't a parking spot. So she made me go out and move my car. I now have 5 minutes to spare. I walk back in. *reminder I came for a router* THEY DON'T CARRY ROUTERS AT THIS LOCATION!!?! I was baffled. So I ask if they can mail me one? THEY SAID THEY DO NOT HAVE ACCESS!? Don't ask me what they do at this store because apparently they can't give you anything, order you anything, or respectfully greet you or apologize for the situation. Can't wait to call retention on Monday. I've been a customer for a week and this will be my second time talking to retention.

After years with Spectrum we decided the prices were not worth the services we were receiving. We were paying almost $250 a month, without a yearly offered promo package, for house phone, BASIC cable and internet services. The house phone wasn't necessary for us but required as part of the package. Prices just became unreasonable. When we cancelled I was told we had to return all equipment to the Roosevelt Ave office so we packaged up and I drove to the Spectrum office. It was early afternoon so there wasn't a crowd when I arrived. After waiting my turn a nice rep processed all the equipment I had to return. She was very polite, friendly and professional. Afterwards she did a fine job of discussing the Spectrum promo for cell service which I wasn't interested in. The experience was fast, professional and took no more than 15 minutes. The personal savings from $233 a month to $75, for internet, is a huge savings. We now have replaced cable for $50 a month and have all the same channels as before plus more. Spectrum was fine but finally cost prohibitive for us.

Absolutely the worst. Only posting this complaint to vent since there's really no other alternative--it's not like I can pick which cable company to go with. I'm stuck with these inept morons. WiFi, DVR, pixilation/lost signals, customer service & pricing are all 1-star. They're the worst in every category in every way and I have no choice. I'm stuck with them. This is what hell is like. Pure hell.

Keith the manager from sales doesn't help at all, so don't bother. Dan from the sales department has no clue what he's doing. He signed me up for a package with a agreed upon price. Turns out he signed me up for a Latino package and now they want me to pay more than what I agree on. I've been on hold for over an hour. All they do is transfer you to other people who can't help. It's not even been a week with them and all this has happened. Also, when I scheduled for my service to be installed, Dan scheduled it for the wrong day. I waited 3 hours.

The past few weeks my Spectrum internet has been poor at best. Screen freezing or no connection at all. I called to schedule a service call and was told between 4-5pm on Friday. 5pm and not show no call. I called Spectrum to find the service tech and they said he would not get to my house now until 6. 6pm comes and goes and no tech and no call. I called back and now it will be after 7pm! He finally shows at 7:30! Wait, it gets better, he installed a new router and everything SEEMED to be working. About 2 hours later, same issues come back. Poor reception, frozen screen, and the circle of death! Called Spectrum back and they would escalate the issue and have someone out this weekend. So the best they could do was between 7-8pm Sunday night. At 7:30 I get a call and they say, now get this, he won't be able to get to my house until at least 9:30pm!! To say the least I told them no! As of today I am done with Spectrum!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. I've had Spectrum for 3 weeks and it's been 3 weeks of terrible service. Remote is cumbersome and not user friendly. My Own Demand doesn't work. Not able to get all the channels I am paying for. Have to press several buttons to turn on both the TV and box. Finally told them to come get this crap out of my home. If I could go back to Comcast I would. But guess I'll give AT&T a try. They didn't even try to retain my business. STAY AWAY at all costs.
