“I have, unfortunately had many occasions in my life where I’ve needed body repair work on vehicles. I have used Voelkel’s several times now and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s always only been for insurance claims and never added anything on to it.
Most recently, I took my Tahoe in after getting rear ended. Light damage, but enough to wanted it fixed. I went ahead and had them remove several dents(father of 5 so it gets abused) and detail a couple spots. I had just recently gone through some fresh lane paint and had some nice yellow on the driver side I couldn’t get off.
When I say they made my lightly abused Tahoe look brand new again, I’m not exaggerating! If I were in the market to sell, this work just raised my resale value a few thousand and cost a fraction of that. I will always add some dent removal and detailing to ANY insurance claim from now on, or just to get it cleaned up back to new.
The level of professionalism at this shop is second to none and I won’t take any of my family’s vehicles anywhere else. Couldn’t recommend them more if I tried!!!

“Seriously seriously the sweetest people in the industry I swear. Kris and Sarah are upfront, truly honest, and truly want to help. Fixed my car up beautifully in a day and a half after I got it checked in and did it with a smile. Family business of two people!!! They know what they’re doing and most importantly answered my questions without a hint of condescension. I’m always nervous about car people being rude to me because I’m a young woman who doesn’t know a thing about cars, but they helped me out and let me pay out of pocket when no one else would take me because I don’t have collision coverage. He even fixed my back bumper when I didn’t ask him to and told me where the best place to get new tires was when I asked if mine were too worn down. The estimator at Cookie's Body Shop did a great job and worked with the insurance company that was paying for the repairs, I didn’t have to do anything. “I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical about taking my nice car here as I've never heard of them or their work quality. But I'm glad I took the chance on them. Every body shop in town had at least a month wait just to give me an estimate on my car and another 3 months just to schedule me for a fix. However, Southside Automotive gave me an estimate on the spot, honored it, and got me in within a week and finished my car within a day. That is speed you never see anywhere. The paint looks flawless. I will say, you won't save too much money coming here as the quotes are about the same you would get at any large body shop (unless you pay cash you save like 3%). But for the quality of work, speedy estimate, and 1 day turnaround on your car... you can't go wrong. Other shops charge the same price but you will wait forever (don't believe me? call every Caliber Collision or Gerber body shop in your area, you will wait at least a month just to get an estimate).”
