A little around a month ago I took my car to this autozone for a battery. Part of their service is to install the battery. The individual that sold me the battery and installed the battery did a horrible job. 1st the battery he sold me was not compatible with my car and on top of that the individual did not install the battery correctly. I say this because first the battery I purchased did not fit my car and while installing the battery I noticed something disturbing. As the battery was being installed I noticed a spark from my car and I heard my car alarm go off. This is not suppose to happen if you are getting a battery changed. The battery was eventually replaced with the current battery but then my car would not start. I first thought maybe it was a issue with my key fob needing a battery but they stated that they do not install batteries on the key fob and did not mention to me they had the battery for my key fob at their location. I had my wife pick me up and I went to 3 different places to get a battery for my key fob. I then discovered that my car would not start. I had to get my car towed to my house that day. I had to get my car towed to the dealership the next day. There were issues with the master fuse being messed up, the starter needing to be replaced and other electrical work that needed to be done. This was over $1000.00 worth of repairs not to mention cost to tow the vehicle , cost for lfyt. I spoke with the district manager who apologized for this inconvenience he stated he did not see how failing to install the battery could impact the starter. I would have followed up with him again but but I ended up losing my receipt and the district managers number. Keep in mind the ink that is used on their receipts is poor and fades quickly so make sure you photo copy your receipt. The mechanic in the dealership suspects that the autozone employee installed the wrong battery backwards which caused all the issues.

The staff is friendly and helpful, but they never seem to have the parts I need, even though it says they have it on online portal. I always call first now before I go to the store. However, the staff does look to see if it is actually there and will tell me if they cannot find it. It's sad to see that the inventory is not quality checked and kept up to date.
