Staff was nice enough. Spent time there trying to get things transferred over. They told me my insurance was invalid. I called my insurance which said everything was fine and they didn't know how to enter things correctly. Insurance told me the pharmacy needed to complete some training and I would hear from them the next day. I never did. My insurance advised me it would be a lot easier to use a larger big name pharmacy that deals with volume. Unfortunately, was a wasted 4-5 hours of my life. :( I was hoping to avoid a big name pharmacy as Alivio is listed in network.

Stop using big pharma companies and try your local pharmacy! Not many around and I live 30 minutes away but the service is well worth it. I was tired of dealing with big corporate pharmaceutical companies, because they can never seem to get things right, and customer service is the worst. I wanted to try a mum and pop shop, and it's the best decision I ever made. Alivio Pharmacy is attentive to their patients, I love how community friendly they are. Warm customer service, and when they say 15-20 min for a refill, they mean it! I've always been able to get my medication quickly and efficiently. Once my prescription was messed up (not their fault), and they kept a look out for my pills. It was so nice of them, especially when I just got surgery. Also, they're bilingual so I would recommend to any Spanish speaking natives.

Pharmacy confirmed with my insurance company that they could get a specific medication that I have found difficult to find. The said they could order it and it would be here in 1-3 days. So I drove 5+ miles out of my neighborhood to drop off the prescription and then 5+ miles home. And the NEXT day they called me and lied about having spoken to my INS. Then I had to drive back again to pick up the prescription. I spoke to the pharmacist who could have cared less and chose not to apologize.
