I love the beauty and simplicity of this shop! Everyone was so sweet and so kind! I went to loc my hair and it was a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the location isn't the best and it is hidden behind a busy road off if 96th street. I have been in this area for awhile and never seen or heard of this place. I only learned about this salon because of reference and I do not regret it! Besides that the shop and people are lovely

I booked with Janay’e Boog a worker of this salon. She has her own business, “Self Made by Nay’e” but she has blocked my review from being seen on her website so I’m reviewing here?I went in at 9am for a simple ponytail style and ended up getting robbed of my $70. The hairstyle that was suppose to take 3 and half hours was still not finished by the expected time that her website suggested. After the service was taking too long I had to leave to show up to my responsibility’s on time with an unfinished ponytail just for it to fall out 2 hours later trying to brush out the hair. When I explained that the hair style was so unsatisfactory that I couldn’t fix it and it didn’t last over 3 hours I was REFUSED a refund or any money off my next appointment and told it was my fault because she was “rushed”. My only option was to show up again within 48 hours to get it restyled. It’s a disservice to clients to not include the true amount of time a hair style is going to take and even more so to not take accountability for misleading a client and giving them wrong information. I had to pay $75 for an unfinished hairstyle that didn’t even last 3 hours as if that’s acceptable. I would not recommend Janay’e Boog but the other stylist at this salon seem pleasant.

As a soldier in the United States Army, I have strict hair requirements. However, as a black woman, I love the ability to be able change my look with just a simple change of my hairstyle. I absolutely love this salon! I have been searching for a salon that can provide me with all the versatility, creativity, and an awesome environment. This salon was highly recommended to me and I was not disappointed. My stylist Sheriann removed my sew-in ( from a previous salon) washed, conditioned, gave me a scalp treatment, ends trimmed, slik press, and installed my microlinks! My experience was awesome! We set a plan to help bring my scalp back to life (which is working) and schedule to tighten my microlinks in the future. I can workout, do my daily duties, and enjoy my personal life with my hair style! Sheriann at 506 Salon Inc maintained a professional attitude and gave me excellent service even though I arrive late for my appointment. She has found a client for life! Thank you so much and God Bless America!

Sheriann did a wonderful job on my daughter hair. She made her feel really comfortable. Took her time with her and everything turned out great. Also the salon it's self is beautiful. Thank you again I will be back next weekend
