You can grab what you need but you leave with half the store. I always get our holiday decorations here and I love the cards and crafts selections. Dishes, rugs, make up, and nail supplies and groceries too. I always find pretty cool yet inexpensive gifts in there. Yes I love shopping but I hate parting with my money. Love my shower curtains and frogs and butterflies.

Seems like the sign with the hours needs to be updated. The sign on the door, the website and Google all say the store opens at 8. Yet I went to this store at 8 and the employee told me they weren't open yet.

I have always been very impressed with the customer service I've recieved at this location (south end of town) since it first opened....until tonight, Wed 9-1-21, at 8:16p.m., at Register 02?.(whichever one is closest to the door.)There is a new 'checker' whom I don't expect will last long in customer service. I hope she won't be at DG South for long, because I will have to drive out of my way to shop elsewhere, before I'm ever treated that poorly again.This young 'lady' has a very poor attitude...very rude the entire time, like I was wasting her time.. She ended up throwing my change into my hand, then laughed at me when I just stood there looking at her in disbelief. This was shocking, because this location has always hired fantastic help, up until now.UPDATE: She didn't last one week at this job. Now, the store has trouble staying open and sticking shelves. The CS is still great though.

It's super close to home and has the majority of what our family needs. Luckily it stays open later than the grocery store across the street because all too often we find out we need something after the grocery store has closed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they don't seem to stock or face the shelves as frequently as they could to keep the store in tip top shape.

This has got to be one of my favorite stores in our town, mainly because its all of 7 or 8 blocks from our home, so on the days that is awesome out and my kids are kinda stir crazy we go for walks, and this is our #1 go to stop!! Its got a little of everything and at decent prices!
